Blue Badge Parking

Blue Badge holders may park on single or double yellow lines for up to three hours, except where there is a ban on loading or unloading. The badge and time clock must be displayed correctly in the vehicle.

Motorcycle Parking

Motorcycles are exempt from paying the full motor vehicle tariff at Pay & Display car parks where bays are provided as follows:

• Crown car park
  2 motorcycle bays
• Ipswich Village car park
  Long stay Pay & Display
  6 motorcycle bays
• New Portman Road car park
  10 motorcycle bays
• Portman Road car park
  Long stay Pay & Display
  8 motorcycle bays
• Upper Barclay Street car park / Upper Orwell Street
  Motorcycle bays adjacent to the car park
• William Street car park
  Short stay Pay & Display
  6 motorcycle bays

Normal charges apply at all other council car parks.
