Not impressed. I saw the rate of £1 for up to an hour, so parked there today as was using the gym. Found out later that on a weekend the rate is flat £6.50 for the full day, so ended up paying £6.50 for just one hour… Don’t understand what is the point of this car park if you can’t park there for 1-2 hours on a weekend… won’t be using it again! Also Nuffield gym reimburses us for parking at Jackson Square so it works out free for gym users anyway.

Awful, very poorly tarmacked areas and poorly marked smallish bays. tight turns in some areas. very obvious that NCP are just 'coining' it in here!.

Parking in Edingburgh

Parking in Edinburgh is relatively straightforward as there are plenty of short-term pay and display spaces and car parks throughout Edinburgh city centre.

On-Street (Pay & Display)

There are almost 500 pay and display machines and about 5,500 parking spaces in Edinburgh. You may pay either with coins (machines accept 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p and £1 and £2 coins), or by using your mobile phone with mPark.

Maximum stay periods in pay and display bays in the city centre range from 30 minutes to 4 hours.

Pay and display spaces operate from 8.30 am to 6.30 pm, Monday to Saturday in the central zones, and usually between 8.30 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday in the peripheral zones.
