Couldn't be a more complicated Payment System if they tried! Only that we were desperate for a space I would have given up! Top Tip from another frustrated customer though, if you go to the Machine by the Toilets, you can get an old fashioned Pay and Display Ticket and you don't need a degree in Engineering! Very tourist and older people unfriendly.

best option in central Bath

Scanned the QR code and went through the process, but after approving payment on my banking app, the QR system wanted me to go back and confirm that I had paid. Only problem was that this window disappeared, so now expecting to get hounded for not confirming payment. . .

Total nightmare trying to pay using QR code. No info to say if there is any payment machine that just takes old fashioned credit cards. Horrible panic in the dark

Great location and great price. Lots of spaces on my arrival. If your looking for a card machine to buy your ticket there is one outside the car parks public toilets (if you need to use the toilets you will need a 20 pence piece .

Bath is expensive to park... but this is as good as any other car park in town, as they all charge more or less the same.

Ignore the review below about the lack of card payment. This is a big car park with a number of ticket machines. Some take card, some take cash. Easy to use, plenty of spaces. Expensive of course, but it's the centre of Bath. I use the park and ride unless I'm going to be leaving after the last P

No card machine to pay the parking.Expensive car park allow coins payment onlyThere is no change machine on the place and the machine doesn't accept bank note.Very far from the others standard car park. To be avoided

This is a popular car park but there usually is 'a' space somewhere - drive around a bit as there are several parts to the car park. Free from 8pm till 8am so cost not so bad if there from afternoon to late night.

Parking anywhere in Bath is expensive. If you're staying over 4 hours this is a good car park - if you can find a space, as it's quite close to the centre. Pre-Christmas, you really need to be here before 10am. Otherwise P&R it.

Parking In Bath

Blue Badge Holders Parking

Bath Controlled Parking Zones

Blue Badge Holders may park in the same controlled parking zones as resident and business permit holders. The badge must be clearly displayed at all times during the restricted hours. The restricted times are usually Mon-Sat 8am to 6pm, zone entry signs at all vehicle entry points to a zone will indicate the times and days that the restrictions apply.

On-Street Designated Disabled Parking Bays

These are primarily found in town centres and will have a sign to show that the bay is restricted for use by badge holders only. Enforcement action is taken against non badge holders or if the badge is not clearly displayed.

Off-Street Parking - Car Parks

With the exception of the bays at the entrance to Charlotte Street car park parking charges now apply to blue badge holders in ALL Pay & Display and Pay on Foot car parks IN BATH ONLY with the exception of the Sports & Leisure Centre Car park in North Parade. The tariff boards in each car park indicate the charges that apply.

Yellow Line Waiting Restrictions

Parking on double and single yellow lines is permitted for a period up to three hours providing you clearly display a valid blue badge and set the time clock.

You are not allowed to park on yellow lines when loading restrictions are in force or where you would cause an obstruction such as parking in front of a dropped kerb. Loading restrictions are indicated by yellow line markings along the kerb.
