Paid 60p to park for 2 hours... then recieved a parking fine of £100 a few months later. So upset as I threw away the receipt, now they are threatening to take me to court. I am refusing to pay as I paid the 60p, therefore I am not giving in as its unfair.

According to the users of this car parking, Parkingeye have been issuing Parking Charge Notices for stays shorter than 10 minutes, which is clearly non-compliant with the BPA Approved Operator Scheme's Code of Practice.

Many users have reported that Parkingeye is issuing Parking Charge Notices even if a vehicle has been in the car parking for less than 5 minutes. If so, Parkingeye is clearly not compliant with the BPA Approved Operator Scheme's Code f Practice, which is 10 minutes.

Theives! I pulled up to sort out an issue with my child’s car seat and received a £60 fine a couple of weeks later! They should put a barrier up but obviously the love receiving the penalty fee from everyone! Never use it again and the clubs dodgy anyway so avoid at all costs!!

Be warned do not enter this car park unless you are prepared to pay even for a couple of minutes. I did to take an urgent call. Only stopped a few minutes and received a £60 fine. No way to contact this company.

Was on the car park for less than 5 minutes as realised I had no change to pay for a ticket and received a fine for £60. I never left the car or switched the car off but cannot get through to appeal the fine. Now I know to avoid this car park in the future!

I would never park at this car park, they have ripped off so many people, they are leeches! They love to prey on vulnerable people.

I have used this car park quite often in the past as it is a reasonable price and in a good location for the train station. However I left my car there overnight (paid 24 hours) and when my girlfriend dropped me off to pick up my car the next day, she got a £60 fine from Parking Eye. She didn't stop just dropped off a paying customer. What a joke.

My wife entered the car park to collect me early from a Saturday match. She never left the car and only waited for a few minutes. The twist in this incident is the game was January 2018 and I've only just received notification May 2019 from my employer who I lease the car from that I've got a fine that's now doubled to £120! Parking Eye have contacted my employer but haven't sent the original documents as requested so I'm debating what to do due to the length of time. Any feedback would be gratefully received.

Beware of fines for being late back to your vehicle. Just received a threatening fine for £60 for being a few minutes late back to my vehicle. Will avoid this car park and operator in the future. As they do not listen to reason, they would rather intimidate vulnerable people.

As above. Parking eye is basically the mafia in the parking game. No common sense.extortion in the use of penalty fines.Basically a clamping company without clamps.You will be fined for a very minor overstay with threat of court action.Abosolutley no way of speaking to parking eye directley. Park elswhere and dont give them your custom.

Avoid using this car park. Penalty charges of £60 for overstays of only a few minutes are applied, this is exhorbitant, and totally immoral. Hopefully future government legislation may stop this sort of outrageous penalty charging. In the meantime, park elsewhere, do not use the facilities of this rapaciously greedy company.

I dropped my son off to watch the football match by entering the car park. I waited a while at the back of the car park. I could not ascertain if I could use the Blue Badge without charge so I left the car park and parked in a side street. I returned later and waited on the car but not in a space and for the entire time waited in the car, i.e. not parked. Received a £60 charge today

I parked up to watch the game only to recieve a few weeks later a fine I was advised by the man manning the carpark to keep my ticket as it has been known for people to be fined using this carpark not easy to get hold of anyone to sort out wouldn't park there again

I followed the instructions on the machine putting £3.50 and car registration in and no ticket came out. There is no way of contacting the company so I'm now waiting for the inevitable fine! So all in all rubbish service.

Difficult to find parking charges on-line. Difficult to contact operator.
