Howlands Park & Ride

You can never get parked here always have to go to sniperley. People working in Durham are the problem.

I liked the idea of the park and ride, I travel from Bishop Auckland to Howland’s and find it very useful and reasonably priced.However, NOT since I used it on Saturday 30th November and I’m still in agony Now! It was the return journey which was the problem, I boarded the bus at the stop just past the Royal County hotel as it’s where I usually catch the return bus. There was quite a queue, although not all for the P

Normally I would give five stars to this car park as it is such a convenient way to visit Durham. BUT the last two times I tried to park here in June there were no spaces available which was very frustrating. I agree with the previous reviewer who suspects contractors are using the car park. On the Park and Ride website it distinctly states that only visitors actually using the bus should park here and I DO hope this can be sorted.
