Charged for 4hours parking when I was literally in there for around 30 minutes
This car park was free parking during COVID I believed, parked there before and no issue. Went on the 16th July half an hour parked, just had a letter to say I need to pay £100. There was nothing to say this at all on the day and I have parked before with no problem. They have since that date recently put a new electronic sign in the entrance. Was not there before and I will not be paying. I have read all about these unregistered firms on the MSE website
I have just had the same , went in barriers were up so wrongly assumed it was free parking, just got letter £100 fine. I was in there 13 minutes .
Barriers up read you can park in Ashfield for up to 2 hrs gone just over hour got £100 fine
I had the same problem with this place. The barriers was up now I got car park fine! Does anyone know if you got to pay it.
I had the same problem no barriers for full access no notices up and now got a fine this was in September. If they want the fine they can take me to court. I'm sure it's happened to a lot more people. Plus I moved house changed my address on license bit not with log book yet as not had time. They had me down at my old address so wrong address for start
barriers up, popped in for 30 minutes whilst dropping something off. parked on ground floor and left via entrance,I did not go into shopping centre as was in a rush and no need to. now recieved a parking ticket for £100!!! today I have learnt there is no payment metre without going into centre so not impressed
So what is going on, I have two vehicles registered too use the cat park and pay by PayPal, my wife has just received a fine for none payment. I will not pay this because I haven't been informed of any changes that may have happened since my last parking payment in Juy.
Barriers was up! Went in and received a fine now for £100. What a joke.
Ashfield council day free parking in Ashfield during pandemic. Barriers up popped in for 20 mins for boots prescription now got parking fine. Disgusting
