Great for motorhomes. We stayed there in our motorhome last weekend as we were attending the races. Just park in a normal bay. Flat, so no levelling required. We arrived at 11am Sunday, left at 10am Monday - charge was £13 - certainly can't complain at that

Lets you in when its completely full. Parked on a kerb and got a ticket along with many others.

Close to the river and Chester walls. Open air car park, doesn’t feel cramped. Cafe and toilets on site. You take a ticket from the barrier as you enter, put the ticket in the payment machine just before you leave (able to pay with cash or card) and then place the ticket in the reader next to the barrier as you drive out.

The barriers are very slow at peak times. Barrier must be fully down for a couple of seconds before it will accept ticket. Ticket must be correct way up and facing correct direction. All takes time . Compared with other similar designed barriers, it is painfully slow. Others can be raised again when barrier is starting to close with ticket in any orientation

It's rare to find a motorhome friendly car par and this one is a real joy. Close to the town, plenty of room and secure enough so you feel happy sleeping overnight. The council is to be congratulated.

Stayed here overnight several times... Feel safe and secure in our camper. Cafe on site, which closes about 6ish in the summer. 5 minute walk from the centre. Just perfect!!

Pay machines at this location do not except notes or bank cards.

Huge car park. good for camper vans. Good cafe on site. The price is £5.80 for 24 hours. Felt very secure overnight in camper van. Close to town centre. Excellent!
