Parking on a Sunday is not Free. You only get 2 hours Free. I used it when staying at the Premier Inn as that now only has parking for EV’s. If you drive an SUV or stick shift then access is not the easiest..steep ramp and tight turns. There are two lifts located inside the shopping arcade..not signed outside. The stairs are definitely not for the feint hearted or elderly.

Well priced and usually plenty of space but it could do with a face lift and the entrance really needs widening-the unnecessary high, narrow kerb is really awkward to negotiate

Terrible went down the stair well into midland road side, the bottom of the stairs was strewn rubbish cardboard electriclal wires, wood and a frame used for road closures. We were carrying heavy bags due to staying in a hotel nearby, and we had just walked down endless stairs. The stair well should of been closed off to the public, also a fire hazard, I will be calling bedford borough council tomorrow to make a compliant.Bad layout for access as you have to go into the Harper centre to catch the lift! Don’t bother with this utter waste of time 19 hours parking = £13.00

The old reviews are out of date. If you have a blue badge parking is free and could not be easier. Just drive to the exit barrier as normal press the call button and you will be asked to show the badge to the camera and the barrier will be released. Could not be better. Well done and thank you Bedford Council.

Not good for disabled as you have to go back to your car, then take your ticket and get it stamped, get a code to get out. You do get first 2 hours free parking on Saturdays and free Sundays in all council run car parks now. Disabled is free.

not free on sunday anymore. £1 for all day, closes at 18:00
