As another reviewer has stated, we also paid and displayed for the time spent but got a penalty notice through the post two weeks later, unfortunately by that time we had disposed of the ticket so no evidence, they reduced the fine but why did we even get one? You are not able to speak to anyone at the company automated line only. We always keep our tickets for a few weeks now! Will never use this car park again Ilfracombe need to address this unscrupulous company. Notices are not clear!

I’d never use this carpark scamming money grabbing wankers

We came down for a holiday and we stayed in a apartment where parking was non exsistant especially when i had my leg in plaster. My partner had to drop me outside the the holiday let and drive around until a space became available outside the place we were staying.she waited in this carpark for 26 minutes before driving back to see if she could park up outside the place we were staying as its bloody difficult to navigate around the town on crutches..Premier park are wankers

I am damn right disgusted that you can dish out a whacking fine for being no more than 20 minutes over late in the evening during out of season times. You're nothing more than an extorsion racket! I would never use this car park again, neither do I ever advise anyone who asks to! I also won't be paying your ticket - you can shove it where the sun doesn't shine.

Criminals. We drove around Ilfracombe trying to find somewhere to park and on a couple of occassions we drove through this car park to see if there were any spaces.WEcouldnt find any and then two weeks later we received a ticket saying we didnt pay.We wont be paying premier park either.Again criminals.

I payed and displayed but still received a fine through the post.Robbing unscrupulous Company!!!

Beware! These cowboys will charge you a penalty even if you drive through. Avoid this carpark, use Pip and Jim's or one of the other town car parks. Very sad Ilfracombe has allowed such an unscrupulous company to operate this carpark.

Parking In Ilfracombe

Blue Badge Holders parking

‘On-street’ parking meters and pay-and-display machines

Badge holders may park for free and for as long as they need to unless there is a traffic sign specifying a time limit for holders of disabled parking badges. You must display your Blue Badge. Where a time limit is in force, you must also display the special blue parking disc showing your time of arrival.

‘On-street’ disabled parking bays

These have a Blue Badge sign (some may still be orange). You may park free and without time limit unless signs say otherwise (check local signs for information). You must display your Blue Badge. Always try to use these bays instead of parking on yellow lines.

Yellow lines

Badge holders may park on single or double yellow lines for up to three hours. You must display your Blue Badge and the special blue parking disc showing your time of arrival. You must wait for at least one hour after a previous period of parking before you can park the same vehicle in the same road or part of a road on the same day.

Off-street car parks (such as supermarket or local authority car parks)

Most car park operators provide parking spaces for disabled people. However, it is up to the car park owner to decide whether badge holders can park free of charge. Do not assume you can always park for free.
