Very hard to park unless you have a smart car. No disabled facilities and if you pay by phone on the app it takes ages and you have to pay a fee and VAT which is not mentioned on the ticket board. Won’t be doing that again.

Knew there would be problems to arrived with loads of time. Arrived to find machines taped up and you have to walk over to the station to pay at the ticket office. My wife walked to the ticket office and phoned to say there was a queue, so I drove to Frankwell, paid by card, and walked back to the station where my wife said the person at the front of the queue was there when she arrived. Unless you are a regular user and have the phone app then really, just don't bother, save the stress, pay the extra, and park 6 min walk away at Frankwell.

Criminal operation. Paid for parking and the they fined me 50 pounds for not paying. I sent them proof and still had to pay the fine. Absolute disgrace that this operation is permitted to exist.

Sign says motorcycles may be charged I.e. some times and not others, elsewhere this means the designated motorcycle parking is free and if you park in a car space you pay. Parked in designated area and got a ticket. Signage is incorrect and misleading.

As everyone above said this NCP payment machine is outdated useless rubbish! Why should we put up with NCP's lazy, neglectful, 2nd world service? Get your act together and install a card pay machine!

Poor. Machine is useless, nobody answers a phone, give yourself plenty of time to get a ticket or take cash!

Impossible to know how to book in advance. Hopeless trying to pay at the car park because they don't have a card machine. Missed my train because it was so complicated trying to pay by phone.

Parking at the Howard Street car park, close to Shrewsbury Station was probably one of the most stressful parking situations I have ever experienced! I'd like to know why the machines don't take card payments, which would save most people a lot of time and stress, let alone the possibility of missing a train! When someone finally spoke to me, on the number listed to call, they were neither friendly nor helpful. When are companies going to realise not all of us are savvy with the use of mobile phones? Being able to speak to a friendly helpful human is actually preferable to many other humans rather than all this automated stuff. Give someone a job, to help people with their parking or upgrade your machines.

Very poor guidance on how to pay, both words and font size. No rain cover, poor lighting, no card options and the DashPark Option is overly complicated. Come on NCP...get it customer friendly...Contactless Card Payment!

Missed train due to relative complexity of machine. You"ll need the correct change (can't use card) and your reading glasses (to input required info). Not great especially if dark and wet :0 (
