I parked in the visitors car park, no signs or reception to tell me I had to register. Have been contacted by bailiffs (!) two years after my emergency appointment threatening legal action and saying I cannot appeal. Absolutely appalling!

Absolutely senseless system. Why put reg number in when parking eye takes photograph of ot and time entering and leaving. No need forvthe added stress of inputting data plus this takes time away from visiting as machines are very slow to respond. Another "jobsworth"/ money grabbing company.

My nan has asthma, COPD and other lung conditions, the receptionist stated the only thing we had to be aware of was the 2 hour maximum stay. This is ridiculous

Not been to the car park but need to visit the hospital. Looked at parking facilities online and as soon as I read it’s run by Parking Eye, and then the reviews, I knew I’d have to park somewhere else and walk. I’ve been caught for silly non-offences before. It’s not worth the risk, tension, hassle. Seems their only priorities are to fine drivers, fine drivers and fine drivers, in that order. Shame on the NHS for using one of these outfits

I wasn't aware of parkingeye as i have had appointments at the hosp. before, the receptionist didn't make me aware that i had to register my car details, my appointment was only 20 minutes and this cost me a £70 fine, this is a disgrace and should've had a warning or maybe staff could have prompted me to register my car , not amused

Two hours is not long enough. How does one get more time? Not clear

Car park would be fine if it wasn't managed by money grabbing ParkingEye. Have been told for over a year it wasn't working by hospital staff so not to bother entering car reg. Wasn't told it was back up and running so received a fine. Provided evidence to ParkingEye of being a guest at the hospital which is what they asked for. They wanted evidence of my sons disability even though we weren't in a disabled bay and now they've increased the fine and stopped any further contact with them. Disgraceful.
