If you're staying less than 4 hours, you need to park in the spaces marked "Short Term" or otherwise you'll get a parking ticket as happened to me. Why not separate the long term from the short term with different machines? Of course not or they won't make any money.

Made the same mistake as others today. Do not normally park here but roadworks prevented access to the other car park. Loads of penalty tickets dished out as you must buy a £3 to park in a long stay bay, but it's not clear. Told a few others who had parked wrongly before I left.

Take care you do not park in a long stay bay, its easy to get wrong

Be careful, they dont make clear what is a Long-stay and short-stay bay, and they will give you a £50 ticket if you do not guess correctly!!
