St Peters Wharf Retail Park

Parked for 1 hour and 30 minutes and have been given a £100 fine! Even thou the sign says 3 hour stay maximum absolutely ridiculous!

Used car park early on the 21st of December. At 07.16:42 untill 09:10:10. 1hr 54mins using asda store and tkmax.But still find for using this car park for less than 2 hours. Disgusting treatment ,will never use these shops again. Thank you euro car parks .

In big writing it says 3 hours for free however after certain time they will charge.£60 fine for staying over 10 minutes when all the shops were open, the barriers were up, there isn’t even any where to pay. Car parks a major scam.

Very sharp practice by Euro Car Parks. We received a Parking Charge Notice when we parked here for 20 mins when we missed the car park entrance to Lidl across the road. It was dark, the car park was empty, the barriers were up and it was 9.30 at night. We saw no signage and feel that leaving the barriers up is tantamount to entrapment. This is totally unfair,

If I could give zero stars I would…. Absolute disgrace I’ve never had problems in this car park before so I thought I could wait there for a friend. All the barriers were up and lots of cars were in the car park so I thought it was perfectly fine to wait. I waited in my car for 35 minutes and I have been fined £100. I’m so upset as I didn’t have a clue the rules and signs had changed. If the car park is private land then the barriers should be shut after closing time.

I was charged £100 simply saying I exceed the time limit. It was Easter Sunday this year stayed from 18:00:22 until 19:03:43 is this right ? Thought its 3 hours? Disgusting

I was parked form 0700-0800 sat on my car on an empty carpark waiting for someone. Didn't see any restrictions yet I got a 100£ fine for exceeding the limit. I am disgusted to put it mildly

Just received a fine for parking in this car park after 7pm for 1 hour on the 30th of July to watch the fireworks. The letter is saying they have sent 2 previous letters but we haven’t received anything! They are now saying we owe £170 and have lost the right to appeal! Anyone else had this? Unable to speak to anyone they haven’t even provided us with times or pictures.

Disgusting treatment of disabled with severe disabilities, parked unwittingly for over the time which we didn’t know about. Got £100 fine. Cannot afford food bill this week to pay for it

Yet again, another person with a £100 parking fine.! Absolute joke. Came with my daughter and grandson.It takes time to shop, feed the baby, have a coffee, spends lots of money. You try to support this area which is a little out of town to be greeted by this huge fine ! Dont imagine theres any getting out of it but i wont be shopping here again. I understand the car park needs to be maintained etc, put a meter in it and charge reasonable fees, not these extortionate fine for a silly mistake. So unfair.

We have just received a parking fine for being there for about half an hour in the evening. We went down to watch the fireworks display on the night of the river festival. Bare in mind the fireworks display was only about 10 minutes long anyway. It took us the best park of 20 minutes to get out of the car park due to the amount of cars all trying to leave at the same time

Just got a fine for waiting for family to finish work. Was there for 20minutes while they locked up the shop

Stayed for a little over 2 hours (spent a small fortune in the shops) but got a ticket as the small print says you can't stay 10 minutes after 8pm, even though all the large signs say 3 hours. Tried to appeal but as usual no human element of empathy or common sense. Avoid these shops and spend your money elsewhere, no wonder High St/shops are dying, no incentive to go out and spend money with them and penalised when you do.

Went here with my disabled friend recently .Have been before and did not notice the time limit .We went in every shop and spent quite a bit of money and time .We had a coffee in Asda Living and my friend being disabled took longer to walk around than normal .There were also queues in the shops Have since been hit with a £100 fine .I'm so angry we were 10 mins over 3 hours .We have always enjoyed shopping here as it's easy to get to the shops we use . How disgusting to make money out of shoppers .We parked in a disabled parking bay and put her blue badge up too .We will not be returning unless the parking methods are changed to pay and display . I'm disgusted !!!!!

Been hit with a parking fine when i was only there 1 hour and 40 minutes after 7pm. I could have sworn it was free for up to 2 hours?? They also got the reg number wrong on one of the photos. So everyone elses posts mention 2 or 3 hours and ive been done after and hour and 40?? NOT HAPPY!! My solicitor will be dealing with this one!!

I parked in the car park for one hour and then had a fine apparently for over staying when you read the signs they say three hours free while shops are open and I was there from 7.57pm until 8.57pm and the shops are closed at 8.00pm big disappointment with the company

Real shame as some good shops here. Spent 3 hours 12 minutes there. Went to 3 shops with my daughter shopping and we spent over £600 between us and been hit with a £100 parking charge. I can’t believe shops of this size and that many of them expect you to only be 3 hours especially taking into account how long we had to queue in tx max and the fact that our bags broke whilst peeing with rain ! Just moved to area and would have used these shops alot so real shame.

Never again. Do not live locally but have shopped here on and off over the years. Went there for the fist time in 14months after shielding and was hit with £100 fine. I've never noticed the 3 hour limit. My fault for not looking properly but still think this is robbery. Why not just make it pay and display. I'd rather pay a few quid to park than get an unexpected fine.

Having read the reviews on the car parking charges at the St Peters Wharf Retail's I would suggest that you complain to the car park company straight away sending copies of your receipts asking them to cancel the penalty notice as you've spent money at shops It does work as I have done it

I've used this car park many times for The Range, Asda etc

Very poor and seems they make money by the time limit and photos even once shops close the restrictions still stand where most car parks have a small charge or are free from 6:30, disgusting really

My wife went shopping at the retail park only to later receive a £100 parking charge. This is ridiculous. If people are meant to shop at a retail park then there should be a better way to manage the parking system rather than make it time bound. Extracting money from customers in this manner is hitting below the belt. If you must charge rather have a parking ticket meter where a person can pay prior to leaving the car park instead of making it timebound.

I also got what appears to be a parking ticket for £90 for staying there for over 3 hours.This is easily done if visiting 4 big shops. Spent quite a bit of money in 3 of the shops(over £400). I shall not pay the "fine" as i did not agree to this contract or terms and conditions. I shall not return to the area again!

I have visited the shops in the retail park for many years without any parking restrictions or tickets. I took a heavily pregnant friend to shop in more than one of the shops there, we stopped for a needed sit down and lunch, trying to get find a space in an extremely busy but too small car park for the custom, I did not notice the changes in parking. Yesterday I received a £90 fine for parking over 3 hours. Needless to say Hobbycraft, The Range, TKMax and Asda will NOT be getting any more of my custom. Very disappointed!!

the car park security is one of those separate to the shops..I too received a parking fine through the post with my photo as evidence to my shopping trip of just over three hours and the do take photo on entry and exit only; as I had been a good customer I spoke to the manager of the shop I had purchased a lot of stuff and they don't always but they said on this occasion they would sort it and I didn't hear anymore. (maybe being pregnant helped I don't know)

This car park gets very busy hence the 3hr time limit.....which is clearly sign posted for all to see! Use the car park a lot with no problems other than its busy at weekends.

I had no idea about about the ParkingEye 3 hour limitation on parking! I have received a £90 parking charge notice from them. I spent a lot of money Christmas shopping at TKMaxx, ASDA Home and The Range - this ridiculous parking system will only help this retail park lose customers. I for one will NEVER shop here again.

Great carPark but dont think its free. We spent £170 in TKMAXX and were unaware of the 3hrs restriction. Came back just over 3 hrs later and have recieved a penalty notice for £90in post! Will not be using this car or shops it supplies again!
