What an utter joke of a car park! Used this car park as I took my 80year old mother to see a show in London and thought we wouldn't have far to walk and low and behold when we got back at 11.10pm the car park was locked leaving us stranded so we had to get a taxi home and then I had to go back in the morning to collect it and pay for two days as our buses don't run before 6am so I wasn't able to get there in time to pay a small overnight charge! You need to get in touch with reality chelmsford!!

Closest to the station so convenient if you are traveling by train, cheep at the weekend at only 1.50 for all day, but as it closes at 5 on a Sunday, it is a bit restrictive for a day out. Fairfield is a bit further away but open all day Sunday.

I have to agree with the previous review. Chelmsford is not a commuter town. The fact that it is now labelled a City is a joke. Not only is parking bad, but the Buses almost lost their licence through poor service and cabs are extortionate and you have to be lucky enough t o get through the pulsating traffic in the first place even consider parking. I'm actively looking for an alternative place to live to commute to London. The station is a wreck as well!!

Chelmsford is supposed to be a commuter town (in fact, it is now a city), and yet this is the best station car parking solution on offer. What a complete and utter joke! I am a surgeon, and have to commute in to London (this includes Saturdays and Sundays). The car park closes so early (leaving you stranded with your car locked up till the next day), that I have now given up taking the train for work. Shame on you Chelmsford - get in touch with reality!
