Parking at the University of Leeds

Finding a parking space at the University before 6pm during term time is impossible and requires a parking permit, or a booked visitor space.

To find a parking space, your best bet is to park on the other side of Hyde Park and walk. Please note that Hyde Park can be dangerous if walking on your own or after dark, so if in doubt, walk on the paths around the park, not through it.

The Council is also planning to introduce parking restrictions around the University sometime during late 2009 which will make on-street parking very difficult.
