On-street parking bays

The Council also operate the following on-street car parking bays:

  • Black Horse Lane - 4 spaces;
  • Elm Street - 11 spaces;
  • Old Foundry Road - 6 spaces;
  • Princes Street - 28 spaces;
  • Queen Street - 6 spaces.

It is the driver's responsibility to purchase a ticket from the machine for the desired stay.

Motorcycle Parking

Motorcycles are exempt from paying the full motor vehicle tariff at short stay Pay and Display car parks where bays are provided as follows:

In addition, a special motorcycle parking area is provided at Tower Ramparts where parking is free.

Normal charges apply at all other car parks.
