Parked and paid upon leaving with cash at the machine, then recieved a parking fine and they claim they couldn't find my payment, I have 5 people who can corroborate my story and watched me pay, watch out

This car park is a rip off got fined £30.00 for 20 minutes parking after 18.00 ????

Payment procedure easy enough if you read the sign. Thank you to the person who scuffed the bumper of my VW Transporter and drive away. I hope someone repays the favour some day.

I visited in September 2010, there were no signs in the car park to suggest it was a pay and display park (look on Google Earth if you don’t believe me) just a single ticket machine OUTSIDE the perimeter of the barriers next to a wall which we didn’t notice until we were driving away. £60 fine, lost the appeal but might go to the small claims court. Parking company will try to scam you. They covered their payment machine during lockdown with signage suggesting it’s free (as was all other parking in torbay) and then chase you with predatory rude language and hefty fines.

Car parking remains a scam here. Visiting whilst performing care duties for relative in West Somerset. £50.00 fine for 1 HR parking in South Devon! 1st ever parking fine. Procedure not clearly explained and machine apparently not reliable. Interested in seabirds/marine life, but will not visit again. St. Abbs Head in Borders much better!!

If you are unlucky enough to get a parking ticket from the company that runs this car park appeal against it I did and won.

Shame machine broken. Is this to force people to pay by mobile ? Told too late to pay online. so await bill.

Agreed! Drove up to get my partners disabled mother on boxing day. Despite a blue badge and only a 20min stay to collect her from the fort got fined £85.00. Pretty disgusting!

One Star is too much!!Took my son to ride his bike on Christmas Day.Did not think any charges would be on.Got fined £85 for a 23 minute stay..Merry Christmas to you too!!
