Not enough parking spaces, rediculous. Also if the parking ticket machine isn't working then if i could get a parking space i too would leave a note on my dashboard offering to pay for my time parked . And would challenge any parking ticket fine. The council have a legal obligation to make sure ticket machines are working or offer an alternative way to to pay
Arrived at Corby rail station after midday... no spaces anywhere except 'pick up' short stay... plenty there! Cars parked all way along road leading to long stay car park. So we parked at the end of a row, not blocking anyone or anything... NO 'do not park here' signes... paid for 24hrs... on return I got a parking fine... where as the car parked in the designated motorcycling bay had no parking fine. My conclusion is that the council are using the parking fines here to bump up revenue and clearly have no interest in doing anything about the poor parking arrangements here.
It’s a bit small and if it’s full when you arrive to catch a train it’s a nightmare! However, to all those complaining about the machines not working, what’s the problem, leave a note on the dash and it’s free for you!?! What’s not to like apart from the council losing income.
Come on it’s the 21st Century, we should be able to pay online. Especially when the card machine rarely works. It’s such a let down.
The council can't even fix their machines so they can receive payment; everyone panicking about missing their train as the machines don't work. Sort it out, it's embarrassing
No car park ticket machines working again No one here can help Can’t pay online
No machines working with cards. Tried to pay on line. This did not work. Tried to pay by phone no cashiers appeared to be working on Friday afternoon. Eventually having gone through umpteen menus, managed to speak to a helpful Customer Service advisor at the council who run the car park who took payment over the phone. Nearly missed our train. Not acceptable when other authorities are using apps like Ringo which make things alot easier.
We did trying to pay but the the payment avoided. And now we missed the train. And not sure where to pay.
All parking full. I almost missed my train but was lucky enough to get the help of a lovely station attendant. I returned 8 hours later to find car park still full. Drop off zone has plenty of place for extra parking slots, that stand empty. Unacceptable
Card very rarely works and takes so long due to Internet, no option to pay online despite being told by station staff that I could, no option dor shorter times
a payment option for less than 24hrs would make sense!!!!
