The information here is incorrect. There is no longer any pricing for evenings. You have to pay full rates day or night. Park on the street instead.

DISABILITY DISCRIMINATION. Parked here to visit a local theatre and parked in the disabled bay with a blue badge displayed as a member of the party was disabled. Arrived at 19:00 and left at 21:15. Over a month later, we received a 'final warning' instructing us to pay a £100 fine for not paying a parking fee! DO NOT park here if disabled, the scam artists running this car park will fine you! Sufficed to say we will not be paying, the new legislation cutting fees in half can't come soon enough, but the grubby criminals running this car park would probably be happy with a fiver rinsed from the vulnerable and disabled.

I do not live in Leeds but ventured there on Saturday evening to pick up my wife and daughter from a function. Initially I parked at the roadside but through safety concern linked to drunken yobs I opted to move to the relatively empty car park ( Edward Street small) at 9.45 thinking that at that time of night it would be free. It turned out not to be the case resulting in a£100 parking fine dropping through my letterbox today. Further investigation into the carpark reveals it is camera controlled ( but not visibly evident in the dark) Further more the absolute parking cost overnight is £3. Whilst yes I am guilty, a £100 fine for a £3 cost identifies Euro Car Parks as being robbing bar stewards. Fingers crossed you business goes bankrupt

The car park at QE Hospital is managed by Euro Park, and Teresa is currently paying over £30 a week just to park to look after people, however they only receive £87 for a night shift. Lets give parking company 'EURO PARK' some free publicity.....They have charged a nurse at Queen Elizabeth hospital, Woolwich.for running over her time because she was delayed finishing her shift....These leeches need to be named and shamed at every opportunity...

Excellent place to park. Secure and middle of city center

I have had similar experience to others with this company- avoid at all cost. I had also paid correct fee but got a ticket a month later. I appealed as I had still kept my ticket in my car, otherwise would have had difficulty proving my innocence. I also got no apology. Disgraceful ripoff company. Leeds city council should do something to protect its shoppers from companies like this.

Please note that this is PAY ON EXIT, like in a multi storey. So don't park up, go to the machine, pay the minimum £2 and think you have paid for parking. You have in fact paid for 5 minutes and you must now leave. If you stay now you will get a PCN (ticket) because by going to the machine you have said that you are finished parking! The 'pay on exits' signs are not very obvious and the machine will gladly take your money and not tell you what you have just done. Do not make this mistake!! Otherwise this is a very convenient car park

WARNING !!!!!!!!!!! after paying to park here with an attendant and 2 cctv cameras our van was broken into with over £5000 worth of tools and personal property cctv showed white van next to ours but was not clear enough to get full registration

Massive increase in cost since last using this car park. We were going to the opera, which started at 7p.m.m but the evening parking rate only started at 7p.m and the machine wouldn't let us pay in advance. We parked here for its proximity to the opera, so thought that it would only take a couple of minutes to get a ticket at 7pm and nip round the corner. However, as the charges were so high we hadn't enough cash, so had to pay by card. The machines weren't lit, so it was hard to see what to do in the dark. We tried each machine in turn, but they all rejected our card. Eventually we found one that worked, but we had missed 25 minutes on the opera. EXPENSIVE, POORLY MANAGED AND BADLY LIT. NEVER AGAIN!!!

As per the last reviewer, I've noticed this car park seems to be massively expensive. 4 hours is £7.50. 8 hours is £25. 24 hours is £30. Strange how going from 4 hours to 8 hours doubles the time but more than triples the cost. Can only think they're exploiting people who park there to go to work. With prices like that, I certainly won't be using them.

Parked in Edward St. Car Park at 8:45am 03/10/14 - found that costs had rocketed since the last time I parked there a couple of months ago. £7.50 for 4 hours, £16 for 6 hours, £25 for 8 hours, £30 for 12, £60 for 24. Absolutely disgusting prices but I had no time to drive elsewhere as I was running late for work. I rarely drive to work but I had lots of things to carry. Disgusted.

I parked at 10 oclock at night for half an hour. The barrier was up so I presumed it was free after 6pm as many car parks are. BE AWARE. If the barriers had been down I would have been alerted to the "out of hours" fees.

This is a rubbish car park operated by a rubbish organisation. I parked there on Boxing Day for a visit to the Grand Theatre. Not knowing the area, I took a load of coins expecting to pay a fee but when I went to the pay and display machine it clearly said on it that parking was free on Bank Holidays. I am sure that I didn't imagine this because I pointed it out to someone else who was intending to pay at the same machine. Now they want to charge me £60 and have just rejected an appeal. To me they are just con artists.

Jan 11, 2014

Don't park here I got a ticket saying I paid insufficient fee. I had paid the correct fee and left 40mins before my ticket expired. I wrote to complain and get an apology saying as a gesture of goodwill they are cancelling the charge, but they won't be repeating this. No apology for there error even though I sent them a copy of the ticket. showing quite clearly that I had paid. UKCPS are just a set of rip of merchants who issue parking fees against people who have paid and reading the reviews on this site it looks like this is a very common. WHAT EVER YOU DO DON'T PARK HERE YOU PAY THE CORRECT FEE BUT THEN THEY WILL SEND YOU A PENTALTY NOTICE.

Dec 24, 2013

For goodness sake just DONT PARK HERE!!!!! UKCPS obviously can't do their job properly! Just been lumped with a £60 after paying £8.50 for 24 hours and leaving a whole 10 hours before I had to!!! The car park is generally just stony surface, the sort of place you would expect to be free in other towns/cities. Really Use a car park operated by someone else!!!

Apr 15, 2013

Oddly came looking for reviews, but reading them thought i'd share, that i too received a penalty fine on christmas eve, over a month since i last parked there! Luckily, like others, i paid by card and i never clean my car (my bad) but still had the ticket. Something just isn't right! I'd stay clear of this car park!!

Mar 21, 2013

hi just want to know if any one knows if the parking spaces out side this car park are also the car parks or are these different ? received a fine when returned i parked out side this car park but bought a ticket from in side the car park as i thought that's where i had to perches the ticket an then got a fine if its correct an is not that car parks spaces then i would like my £6.50p back i spent on buying a ticket .. think the pay an display signs need to describe more of what you need to do other than pay an display with an arrow for all new i thought it was part of the car park

Jan 10, 2013

BEWARE!! WHEN PARKING HERE! If you pay for parking keep all your tickets. I received a £95 fine on the 24th Dec, (5 weeks after I parked there) saying i should pay them within 5 days. Luckily i paid by debit card and can prove this. I would like know how they get away with this, lots of people pay by cash and discard their tickets after such a long time. Also that day i had to queue 20 minutes just to pay for my ticket, I don’t understand how they can fine you, especially when you have to put in your number plate and it’s checked and verified at the time of payment.

Jan 2, 2013

I paid £3-60 for an hour and stayed for 50 minutes. I was sent a demand for £95 a few weeks later saying I had stayed for longer than I had paid. Thankfully I paid using my debit card, so I have a record of the transaction. There have been many reports of this happening. It makes you wonder if this is a deliberate scam. How many people have recieved the demand, having paid using cash and discarded the ticket. I think this could be classed as attempted theft. Report them to Trading Standards

Dec 28, 2012

Stay clear of this car park. I recently received a £95 penalty notice even though I could evidence payment on the day. I returned within the hour but it took me 6 minutes to pay from the point of entry to the car park. This was due to faulty and confusing machines. I will never return to this car park, ever!!!!

Dec 27, 2012

Hi, with reference to my previous review, would anyone be able to tell me if the machine prints one or two pieces of paper out ? I have found the receipt with time and date of the card transaction on but as it wasn't me in the car at the time i'm not sure if there's another slip to display on your dashbord ? Thanks, Waylon.

Dec 24, 2012

I park here regularly, pay by debit card and keep my tickets as Im self employed and account for them.So far I have had three parking fines in the last six weeks for non payment! No ticket on windscreen just a letter through the post 4 weeks later (when they assume you've ditched your ticket).Asked round in the last week and nearly a dozen people have received the same treatment.Used to be an NCP its since then its changed. Its a private car park so it seems to be a scam. I think trading standards or the police may be the way forward because its clearly fraud. Ive also been there when the machines are being adjusted and the maintenance men are rude and ignorant.Ive started to play them at their own game and take photos of my own evidence but theyll have to fight me for it.I also believe private car parks cannot persue fines according to Moneysaving Expert.

Dec 24, 2012

I am currently in the process of writing a letter of complaint after recieving a £95 fine for not paying my parking ticket, which I had done. My consulation, is that at least five other people have reviewed in the last 6 hours with the same issue. Leeds Gazette here I come!

Dec 24, 2012

Rip off. Paid £6.50 for 37 minutes because the machine was a nightmare. 5 weeks later a demand for £95 (a week after I threw the ticket). Do yourselves a favour and use a NCP!

Dec 24, 2012

My wife just got a ticket for £95 for parking there on 7/11/12. She paid to £3.60 fee for an hours (fortunately still got the receipt). Camera shows her in at 1148 and out at 1236. Due to problems with the ticket machine she didnt get a ticket until 1210hrs. So she left well within the hours and still got a ticket! How does that work? Wont park here again!

Dec 22, 2012

You pay your parking £6.50 for 24hours but then you get a charge notice demanding you pay £95 for not paying enough...even though i stayed for 1hr 57minutes. RIP OFF. Do not park here!!!!!!

Dec 3, 2012

Don't park here. Machine is hard to use, unlit with small writing. Car park used to be free in the evening - this has now changed - payment due around the clock. Charges are a rip off unless you want to park for 24hrs. I paid for 24hrs, parked for 3hrs and now received a parking ticket asking for an extra £95 threatening me with a CCJ unless I pay up. Rang the company to check if there was a mistake and talked to a robot. Save yourself the grief - park elsewhere.

Jun 11, 2012

Complete rip off here -charges (not displayed) are for 24/7 and penalties have been doubled . A disgrace!! Keep clear

Jan 14, 2011

Be careful of the tariff sheet displayed on the P&D machines. The largest, most noticeable tariffs displayed are for weekend parking. It is very easy to pay the wrong amount at these machines.
