Reviews

Sep 20, 2020

I was driving in to Manchester for the first time due to trains being cancelled. I have a nice vehicle and read loads of reviews at different carparks whereby their vehicles have been damaged or parts stolen upon their return. Although this car park is a little more expensive than many others, it's worth paying that bit extra for peace of mind. It's secured by a gate and you cannot get in the building without a ticket. It's clean, well lit, spacious and easy to find in a good location. I pre booked and had no issues (despite other reviews saying they had, you get an email with clear and easy instructions). 100% recommend.

brilliant car park. just 10 min walk to city centre. wide parking bays and very well lit and very clean. I felt safe parking my car there knowing you had to have your parking ticket to enter the building. will definantly be using this car park next time I come to Manchester.

Really happy, I was training at a business local to the car park, easy to locate, fairly priced for the location, good security, happy to recommend.

Parking in Manchester

Off-street (Commercial Car Parks)

Manchester City Council has a joint venture with NCP Car Parks for off-street parking (i.e. commercial car parks) and encourages visitors to use an NCP car park during their stay.

The following car parks usually fill up before 11am:

- King Street West
- Exchange
- M&S
- Market Place

The following car parks usually have space available:

- Arndale and Printworks (over 2200 space combined)
- Grand Hotel (5 mins walk to Piccadilly)

Three free Metroshuttle buses go past most of the car parks and around the city regularly so you can leave the car in the cheapest car park in the city centre for a long stay and don't need to move the car, although this does mean using public transport. Route map on the TfGM website.

On Street (Pay & Display)

On street parking (i.e. pay and display) in Manchester city centre is divided into hourly zones: one hour, two hour and three hour zones.

Further information can be found by clicking on the coloured zones on the map or by visiting Manchester County Council website.
