Scummy scammers! DO NOT PARK HERE £100 parking fee because the machine wasn’t working. £100 for 2 hours!!! It’s disgusting how these robbing owners can do that to people. The same owners who petitioned against events square holding events! Sad, lame, awful and clearly miserable people. Read the other reviews and avoid this car park at all costs! The one literally next door is FREE after 6pm. I am a Falmouth local and will be warning everyone about this.

DAYLIGHT ROBBERY!! Wouldn’t recommend this one, although good location the prices are astronomical You get charged an extra £5 on top of your already £8 for four hours! It doesn’t clearly state. Do not use this car park. Complete rip off. Stay for less than two hours, thought we had to pay £4, and had to pay £9 as they have a separate charge of £5 for after 5pm. No where is this made clear. Falmouth council do something about this it’s a disgrace!

What a horrible experience. Machines were all faulty. One eventually accepted my coins but didn't register the payment. Long queue behind me so just cancelled and left. Last time we'll go there!

Already knew this car park was a scam but had some elderly friends with us and it was convenient. Payment machines broken so tried making phone payment.Payment option on phone line not accessible - on a loop giving list of numbers and other help option wait time is more than 30 minutes.This car park is a disgrace - there are so many negative reviews, the council must be aware and yet continues to allow these scamsters to exploit the law abiding public.

Do NOT park here. Awful machines do not work and will only accept notes - no coins or card so you end up having to over pay as it also doesn't give change!! Absolute joke.

Do not park here, company seems to only use number plate recognition and legal means to impose dubious fines months after you parked and no longer have ticket evidence.

ABSOULUTE day light robbery. DO NOT USE this car park. I paid with cash for parking and displayed ticket. I sadly did not retain the ticket. A week later I receive a parking fine for £60 . Their system is on the blink at the expense of the general public. It should not be allowed.

DO NOT PARK HERE. If you don’t pay within 5 minutes of driving into the car park, you will get a fine of £100. Even if you drive in and then drive out because you can’t find a space, if it takes more than five minutes, you will receive a fine of £100. We are appealing the fine through POPLA but so far no good. Repeat - DO NOT PARK HERE.

A complete rip off. We paid for our ticket at the machine when we were on holiday there recently. We are home now and have just received a 100£ fine. We did not keep the ticket of course and have no way of fighting this. It’s a disgrace.

Similar to all reviews above - wish I’d read these reviews before. We paid for a ticket (delays in paying due to having to phone up) then got a paper one after. £100 is excess for someone whose actually paid!!!!

Do not use this car park ! They charge you from entering not from the time of ticket purchase , so effectively you need to buy a ticket before you even go in , I parked in August 18, I was 4th in the que to pay, got a valid ticket and have just received a penalty notice for £60 rising to £100 I’m disgusted by such a con and shocked that the lovely town of Falmouth are allowing this brazen robbery to go on .

They charge you based on time entering and leaving the car park. Beware! Absolute scum.

Paid for 2 hrs parking, displayed ticket , 10 days later received parking fine saying I had not bought a ticket LIES VERY ANGRY I have complained but don't expect to get any where as these people are just ROBBERS

DO NOT USE THIS CAR PARK! You will get a fine. We paid for our parking but still received a fine. What a lovely momento from our holiday in Falmouth. We shan't be coming back. It isn't worth the stress. Quite how this scam is allowed to continue I just do not know.

We too have been stung by this scam of a car park...my husband is registered as disabled and although we were over our time thought we had an extra hour....avoid at all costs..we will definitely not be visiting Falmouth again...disgraceful practice by conmen

Bought 2 consecutive parking tickets from display machine and received a fine for £60. I didn't keep the tickets as no need for it so can't even appeal!

Paid through ringo to park here! Received a letter through the door for £100 fine?! Scam!!!!Do not park here! Absolute shame as the maritime museum was a good day out with the kids.

Beware.Wish I had read the reviews before going into car park.just got a £100 fine in post.Paid for 2 hours left after 1 hour 20mins.Did not keep ticket as no real reason to do so.They say the time starts once you enter the car park not once you have found a space.Day light robbery .We will never visit Falmouth again

Visited in November. Tried to use their easy to pay (laugh) app which continually kicked us off. Finally got the app to work and paid for our visit. As we didn't get a confirmation we also paid cash in the machine as well (effectively paid twice). Now in January we receive a debt recovery scaremonger letter. We contacted them and they told us the parking company had apparently written to us with no avail ( categorically did not receive anything). We paid online as they told us we had no choice and it would go to court, couldn't appeal or anything. We have since found the evidence of paying on our bank account and we have the parking ticket as well. The only thing we can think is they charged us for the time we were using their app before we could pay. Dick Turpin must have designed this app to deliberately delay paying your parking fee. Disgusting and will be taking this to the national newspapers as well as local MP. Had to put 1 star as wouldn't allow review without.

Did not even want to give one star! Bought our ticket and still received a £60 fine! Unfortunately did not keep our ticket. Please keep your ticket or better still do not even use this car park. Absolute con!

Do not park on this car park, better still do not visit Falmouth. I Parked on this car park in August and recieved a parking ticket for £60 rising to £100. Absolutely ridiculous how these people are getting away with robbing innocent drivers who pay the right amount of money into the machine and still get stung. I did not keep my ticket as proof so will have to pay up the £100 after my appeal was refused but I will be making sure everyone knows what a scam this is.

Very bad, paid for the parking on 29/8/17 and when we got home we got a £100 parking fine Luckily I kept the tickets. Beware of the scam

Don't use the carpark as bought a ticket got a fine within times for parking ..lucky kept ticket as proof in process of appeal but very stressful . Advice do not dispose of ticket ...

Less than 1star, don't park here. I did on 11/8/17. Bought my ticket, got back to car and left before ticket time was up. Today recieved a fine for £60, rising to £100 if not paid in time! Have proof of ticket, but stress I didn't need. Conning firm. DONT USE THIS CAR PARK!

Don't park here. Bunch of crooks run this site. Appalled that the museum allows such a bunch of money extorting ....... to run this car park.

After parking here in April Iv just recieved a £60 pcn notice as I didn't know the time goes from entry to exit not from the time you buy a ticket. Beware anyone who isn't able to rush around once you enter. Robbing sods

I parked in this car park in Feb 2017. I bought consecutive tickets as I needed to stay for a further hour, but left within the time on the second ticket. I received a Penalty Charge Notice in the post for £60! My appeal was successful but I'm really annoyed that I had to go through the stress of the process when I had done nothing wrong. Had to type in reg number when I bought the ticket so they should have been able to work it out.

Aggressive private parking guard swore at me. Nasty business.
