Have been fined twice now, despite having bought tickets with pay-by-phone....its a total nightmare and suggest avoiding at all costs! I can't face challenging it, so will pay the fine, but so angry about it! Feels like a real scam operation

Do not park there! Issued fine even though I paid and have ticket to show. When show evidence they charger administration fee! Avoid!

Scam, appealed fine that said we did not have a ticket. Sent photos of ticket, receipt and bank transaction for the correct amount at the right time. Appeal rejected because machine had not recorded all of the number plate. Park elsewhere, it's less hassle in the long run.

Same as many others , paid for evening parking as indicated on the signs but received a £60/100 fine. Total scam…….

Do not park in this car park. As all the previous reviews have said - it seems to be designed to punish/ fine you. The machine is overly complicated and also the parking spaces are tight to manoeuvre in and out of and I did not realise you were charged from the minute you drive in the car park -rather than when you pay for your ticket. I paid twice as I had made a mistake on entering the registration and returned before my second ticket ran out but still was 6 mins over due to being unwittingly charged for trying to park the car in a tight space and the time it took to purchase both tickets on an overly complicated machine. Despite having photographic evidence they have rejected our appeal.

Consistent with other reviews on here, I drove in and parked and then spent 12 mins trying to use the app, pay by phone, and the machine, none of which worked so i drove out again and parked elsewhere and a few days later got a fine. I appealed and their own parking appeals department rejected my appeal with a pathetic letter that didn’t acknowledge any of the issues I had outlined. It’s a scam, do not use this car park. I’m not paying the fine regardless.

Avoid at all costs! Drove in, tried to pay using the app, app wasn’t working so drove out again. 2 weeks later, £100 fine dropped on my mat for the sake of 5 minutes!! Absolute robbers!! Oh, and you can’t phone them to explain either, you have to go through a form which, when you get to the end, refuses to send!!!

It seems the standard approach is to provide poor ticketing guidance and levy a fine under any circumstances. Avoid at all costs.

SHOCKING! Can only pay by phone but then you get a parking fine because it comes up with a different code than the one for that car park...... SO many reviews here have stated the same for over a year and still nothing has been done to change that?! Just a money making scheme!!!!!

Well lit and feel safe to park car, but the payment system is a joke! It's quite complicated and the screen is hard to read. I got fined £100 for misunderstanding how they operate. After 4pm until 9am, it should just be a standard £3! Jokers!

Cheap car park because they make their money on fining people. Very tight car park when full, hard to get out of a space as the cars behind are too close. £100 fine, I won’t be using this car park again.

Cheap car parking. However, the paying system doesn’t make sense. The signs for the terms and conditions are unclear and in small print. It clocks you coming in and out not from when you purchase your ticket, I got a fine for this although I was back in time for the expiry time on my ticket. The car park is very tight, had a van park next to me and I was stuck. The machine is confusing to work.

Got a parking fine as very tight car park to park up on when full and not much space to manoeuvre in to spaces when lots of 4x4 are parked next to you.... Camera records time of entry and exit and I paid for the amount of time when I got to the machine not factoring in the time to actually park in and exit the space. Thanks stupid Mercedes taxi driver for messing about trying to park in the tight spaces which resulted in holding me up and me receiving a fine whilst I then had to do the same trying to squeeze into a tight space...

Poor. Only take cards for payment. No cash. Security Guard said ALL car parks in Sheffield don't use cash anymore, but this is a lie. Do not recommend.

No lighting, poorly maintained, not cheap

It's cheap and convient to the moor BUT they only take card payments or pay-by-phone (which you need a card to set-up) so if you don't have one on you, you won't be able to park here.

Cheap, CCTV and convenient for The Moor end of town. What's not to like?

Cheap carpark, well lit and perfect for the Jurys Inn hotel or the new indoor market. A little confusing when staying overnight Saturday/Sunday in terms of price tariff.
