Disgusting!!! The store owner should be complain they will be the ones harmed, I not going to shopping again there, and many people the same as I do. I spend more the £1000 in Meadowhall and I have a £100 fine, ridiculous and thieves

Surprised to receive £50 fine for overstay. Had no idea the car park had a time limit. Such a shame lovely day out at Ninja warrior, Smyths & IKEA. Spent loads. Have been talking about going again but clearly won’t know this has happened. Parking company £25 up. Retailers £100 down - not a great business model.

Money making scam. I was not aware of the 3 hr limit for free parking. Went for a shopping day had a break food & drink in Greggs. Several days later a £50 fine through the post. I was 14 minutes over the allowed 3 hours free time. This is a large retail park with large stores. I have a blue badge due to a health condition so cannot go rushing around and this is why i took a break in Greggs. I appealed the fine with G24 but was not informed of the outcome of the appeal, messaged them using their online from to be told my appeal had been rejected but i could challenge the decision using the IAS. I tried to do this several times but my PCN number & vehicle reg not recognised. So contacted G24 who said they had now registered it and to try again. I am still trying but getting the same message. Advised to put in a complaint to POPLA tried to do this but a verification code from the letter telling you of your appeal discision is needed I did not receive a letter I have no code. G24 saboutaging appeals process

I would just like to say a "BIG THANK YOU" to members of the general public at the Retail Park Attercliffe - car park today, 12th May 2022. I went into The Range to purchase a few items and when I came out I noticed that the drivers side front tyre was flat to the floor. I hadnt got any equipment and tried to ring my breakdown people but without response, busy - please hang on - waited for ages so gave up. Dont know people's names, apart from "Nick" and Lottie's mom, another couple and a gentleman. They were all so very, very kind, Nick change my tyre, the other gentleman helped Nick get the flat tyre off, Lotties mom lent me her electric charger and helped loads. They all got me sorted and back on the road. Thank goodness it was all within 3 hours, so no fine. Massive heartfelt thanks to all concerned. Brenda

£50 fine for 23mins over the time limit at 10.30pm whilst attending cineworld for a 3 hr film - this restriction should not apply after 8.00pm - absolutely disgusting - never again!!!!

Also fell foul of the parking scam and received a £50 fine after spending many ££££ in the shops, Ninja Warrior and Pizza Hut. Didn’t notice any signs about a 3 hour limit. Won’t be returning. Greedy land owners will soon have no customers left to fleece.

Very disappointed never notice any signs, got a £50 pound fine, went to an activity centre and out for lunch. Won't be going back ever. Shame does not encourage people to come and spend. Back to online curry's.

I received a £50 ticket and just like others didn't see any notices. Also did not appreciate almost threatening letter from G24 Ltd. Just as well they live in Rickmansworth!! Shame on you, owners of Meadowhall!!!

Just received a parking fine if £50 didn’t even know there was a time limit to park here! Not to mention in the middle of a pandemic and we was queuing to get in each shop absolutely disgusting!!

didnt know that there was a parking time restriction until i got a notice to pay for going over the three hrs.needless to say,wont be going again.

Disgraceful money making arrangement. To provide a 3 hour cap on parking with no alternative for paying to extend the parking period and no return permitted within 1 hour is immoral when the retail accommodation includes facilities such as restaurants which encourage longer stays. British Land should be ashamed. I will not visit this retail park again.

I cannot rate this retail park because of the car park. This is a money making business, out of innocent people shopping. There are no other shops near by so it is a way of catching people on an over spill from the FREE packed cinema parking! So be aware of this. There is no wonder a shop shuts down in this retail park every other week.A £50 fine is ridiculous for a car park with loads more spaces than cars.Dont park here if you want my advise or use the shops that will teach them to sign up to a ridiculous scheme of 3 hour max parking.

I didn't even notice the signs saying it was a 3 hour parking limit. I stayed within the facility attended a hobbycraft workshop with my kids, taking them to McDonald's and doing my shopping and it took 3 hours 18 minutes and I get hit with a £50 fine. I have 3 kids 2 are under 5 shopping takes a long time. There were so many empty spaces that other customers could use how can they justify a ticket! Angry is an understatement!

Received a parking fine for staying 5 minutes over the 3 hours limit over the Christmas shopping period. There are too many shops here to accommodate 3 hours of parking this is totally wrong and unfair. I won’t shop there ever again

Visited over the Christmas holiday period. Called in The Range then went to Pizza Hut for a meal. On leaving Pizza Hut children asked to visit Toys R Us to spend Christmas money. Although we (again) made a purchase in the retail park I have now received a fine for over-staying in the car park. Absolutely disgraceful attitude towards customers.

Just received a £50 fine for overstaying the parking limit of 3 hours by 15 minutes. This is a retail park for shopping that you now have a limited time in which to shop. How bloody ridiculous!

Visited the retail park and went SHOPPING!! we went in The Range, Hobbycraft and Currys the had a drink and a bun in the Range and then to Toys r Us. We overstayed our welcome by several mins and got a £50 fine. Most of the shops in this retail park are advertising "Free Parking" on their websites, this is not really true if you can get "fined" for actually shopping here, doing what they encourage you to do, relax and have a good shopping experience. Don't get me wrong, I know there are rules and although I must have driven past the signs a hundred times, I hadn't really noticed them, they aren't designed to be noticed, they are designed to blend in to the surroundings. Anyway if the shops on this retail park condone this, who am I to dispute it, I just won't shop there anymore, neither will any of my family or many of my friends. The owner of the land has got £50 out of us but in the long run we won't be spending thousands in the shops there.

So now you get fined for taking a 90 year old out shopping and for lunch because it goes over 3 hours absolutely disgusting
