Maximum stay restrictions may apply.
Just received a fine :-( retail is on its knees and they privatise the car parking facilities - things like are a ‘sting’, and will inevitably drive all consumers to online shopping only - communities have long said good-bye to the high street, and they are now this type of scandal will chipping away at shopping parks. People will stay away, local jobs WILL be lost in time when public stay away and only use online shopping. Good luck Morfa- I’m ticked off, I’ll make one visit to return my purchase (full refund to cover my fine). I’ll not visit for shopping/coffee again - too risky !
Was sent a bill for £60 (£100 if we don’t pay within 28 days) For not knowing it was a match day! We don’t follow the football and it wasn’t busy on the roads that day. This 90 min limit on a match day rule is not made clear and is incredibly deceptive. It feels like it was made to purposefully to catch people out. And with the cost of living and Christmas just around the corner!? Will not be parking there again.
I will never use this retail park again. 2 hours is not long enough to visit all the shops and get a coffee.
Absolute robbery, went shopping in Curry's, Argos, TK max, Next and boots, spent 1hr:53 min., no idea there is a match on that day if I don't follow football at all, got the 70 pounds fine. Rubbish, never again to this shopping centre.
Predatory parking policy, Note that in small print the time on peak days is reduced to 90 mins and not the 2 hours previously stated.
Just had a parking charge as there's a clause that reduces the parking window during match days. Not being interested in football, I fell into this trap as I had no idea that it was a match day. It's also designed to trap you on your way out so you overstay and get caught. There's no other explanation for the exit traffic design.
Just received a fine for shopping in Morrisons Saturday 14th Jan! Even though my stay was less than two hours, I still have to pay a £60 fine as apparently it was a match day. How are we expected to know about match day and the 90 minute restriction?? I will of course pay the fine, but sadly in times where retail are struggling, this can only add to the decline in customers visiting stores. I for one will not be shopping in Morrisons again!!
Went to Morfa car park got a fine for being over 90 minutes parked in a disabled bay didn't even know about match day thought it was 2hrs won't ve going to the Morfa again big con these fines are
Doing our Christmas shopping in December got fined £60 for going over the 90 mins on match day, don't follow the football so didn't even know this, bigger signs are needed. Furious won't be going there on weekends anymore.
Disgraceful treatment we were just 15mins over the 90 restriction for match day which we did not know about. We shopped in Morrisons, Next, B&Q and few days later had our fine. Never again
I don't think they really want you to shop here. I have absolutely no interest in football so not a clue if it's match day or not. I've been fined and, as with other complaints, it didn't help that it took so long to get out of the car park. I'll go elsewhere in future.
do not use unable to leave car park as poor exit and fined!! go somewhere else until this money making scheme is removed.....
Worst park. No mentions of match day restriction on particular days. Takes ages to come out of car park- Hence got charged for 15 minutes overstay of 90 min allowed. Will never go again.
It baffles me why there is one way in and one way out of this area. Raining today so the crowds are out but getting outside crazy. Not my favourite shopping area car park design.
Went to B&Q to shop for our house. Then went to TkMaxx for some shopping with the family. After shopping we all went to KFC for a meal. All shops mentioned within Retail area. Sometime later a fine comes that we spent over 2 hours there, £70 fine. Beyond joke.
Absolutely disgusting, my wife parked here and was charged 70 quid for being 3 minutes over
Do not shop here, find another retail park.
As all the other reviews, fined £85. Daylight robbery. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
get 70pounds ticket for parking 1hour 50mins. what a shame parking
Parked for just over 2 hours as I was spending money down there in the shops, what a joke getting a fine, not happy
I am absolutely disgusted with the morfa shopping park you are not allowed to spend any time down there to do shopping have a coffee meet friends have a bite to eat because it will cost you an extra £70 on top of what you have already spent, nobody cares about the long delays you have to suffer to get out of the car park YOU WILL STILL BE CHARGED this is all because of the stadium the people who own this are nothing but abusers in the most filthiest ways
Why is the parking charged for in the evenings when the shops are closed. I received a £70 ticket following the Swans Liverpool game nothing was open! The car park is OK but run for excessive profit.
Do not park here if you are disabled in anyway as you will receive a £70 parking notice for parking in a disabled zone. this is as stated criminal behaviour that the police are obviously aware of and do nothing about it.
went shopping here, got back to the car after1 hour 10 mins, took 45 mins to get out of car park. just had a parking charge for £70 for staying over 90 mins when it clearly says 2hrs free.it gone in the bin
I parked there on a Saturday and did shopping in the EE shop and PCs world, and took over one hour to get out due to the football finishing the same time, I then received a 70£ fine for being over the time allowed, this is disgusting behaviour, and fraud as they must realise that it takes over 2 hours to get out due to the football fans who have parked there, so all people be aware.
Site prone to flooding - do not use if rain forecast!
