Car park grid lock in rush hour (Sat evening) traffic. Car park not fit for purpose as cars cannot pass each other going up and down. Avoid this car park or sit in it for over an hour trying to manoeuvre past other cars whilst not getting any dinted. If you are lucky enough to get far enough to get a space you risk other drivers pranging your car whilst you aren’t there.

Cost brings it down. Otherwise not bad.

I always avoid unless really necessary. Recommend using town hall multi story on navigation street for new street & shopping as it's just as close to everything and much cheaper, bigger spaces & more secure. If you're unfortunate to have to park on the top floor be aware of druggys on the stairs even in daylight hours.

Too much money

Jul 31, 2013

I was in this car park for literally 5 minutes, I couldnt find a space so I went to exit (Usually no cost for up to 10/20 mins in most multistory car pakrs) - the barrier wouldn't open & it cost me £4.00!!!!!!! Disgusting.

We parked here for 24 hours when we stayed at the Radisson Blu hotel. When we returned to our car, ours amongst many others had had our window smashed and glove box raided. The hotel were really helpful but we were amazed to hear that this wasnt an 'unlucky one off'. Dont stay here!!

I love going to the Alexandra Theatre but this car park is disgusting its fllthy smalls of pee the lift hardly works. It always put me off going to the Alexandra Theatre and the cost for £3 hours is robbery about time they got their act together and took some examples from the one by the sea life centre . managers need to wake up

I was disgusted at the price of the carparking, after finaly getting to the pay machine, as only 1 was working. £9.90 for 3 hours, disgusting carpark with small spaces. After paying my money for carpark the machine gobbled my ticket and had to spend ages waiting 4 barrier man to sort it out. Not happy, will never use this carpark again

Just been scammed for nearly £20 for 7 hours. Couldn't even get a receipt. Vile car park, pathetically small spaces, AVOID!

Watch out if you go to the Alex. By the time you have inserted your ticket & paid, got back to your car & waited/queued to get out, the barrier machine asks for more money because of the time it takes to get out this carpark & by no fault of your own, as taken you over the next time level. Suggestion make it flat rate for evenings at this carpark.
