Has anyone else received PCNs for march this year ? Just received 3 for “unauthorised parking “ On 18/3 20/3 and 23/3 despite my husband insisting that he paid at the machine . I know that the machine didn’t work properly on some occasions but the guy he contacted said just to go ! Bottom line is don’t believe him !!!

Awful parking. The ANPR system doesn't work, meaning you are calling for assistance each visit, the JPass app DOES NOT WORK whatsoever, so isn't an acceptable solution. My wife has just been issued two PCN's despite being advised that the system is at fault and she is able to exit. The PCN's also arrived more than 14 days after the issue date of the PCN, meaning that we had no chance of paying the lower amount even if we could. Systems like this are DESTROYING livelihoods of sick, ill, injured and poor people.

I parked in the car park as my partner was In labour on Saturday night and it was a long labour, she gave birth at midnight on the Sunday, went to pay at the machine by card the machine said payment approved, but my bank account said it had declined but still took the money, don’t think paying by card is a good idea here.

I went to the pay machines outside the car park, entered my registration number and it found my car. I then tried 2 different cards on the contactless facility, with of which it said were refused. I then entered Amy debit card in the chip and pin device, entered my pin number and ‘Thank You’ appeared on the screen. I am a fairly regular visitor to the hospital, always use the same car park and always pay when I leave therefore I have no idea why the payment was not taken when the screen gave the ‘Thank You’ message.

Bit of a useless system.Stayed for under an hour, system didn't recognise my car reg. Went to pay £2, was issued a receipt. Drove out. Looked at receipt later & says declined. Not sure why. Called & was told i should be ok, but not sure. Now just a wait to see if i get a penalty notice in the post. Should have barriers so it knows/you know you've paid. Stressed out now.

We have recently moved to the area my wife works for the NHS not knowing what to do at first she is still paying £11 for each shift she puts in know wonder why they want a paywise they need it just to pay the car park

My husband parked for less than an hour on 1/12/22 and have had £23 and today £92 taken from our account to visit his terminally Ill father it is appalling we have contacted them and nothing has been done, please pay by cash so it doesn’t happen to you!!

You have to pay after inputting your car reg. this can easily be avoided by using the Jpass app but the app is useless as it cannot find a blue tooth connection when you arrive or at any of the payment machines. As a result long queues for as people try and remember their car registrations.

Awful service, parked in north stay car park at 18.20 & went to pay just after 1841 but machine said my registration number was not found. I pressed for help for a male to say it was ok & I didn’t need to pay but now I’m worried I will get a fine. I asked if I could get a receipt or something but was told I couldn’t & it would be fine! Let’s hope so. Made my trip to the hospital even more stressful.

Visited on 17/10/22 stayed under 1hour. Paid by debit card on machine for fees of £2. Asked for receipt. Nothing appeared. Not charged my bank account as yet. Not sure if payment went through or not. New ANPR system is rubbish. Now dreading postman in case I get a fine.

Absolutely appalling. Disgusting even. Would not allow me to pay, despite wanting to, and, having rang for assistance, a bored operator just told me to go rather than fix the problem. Now I am stressing about receiving a false ticket from these scammers.

Would give no stars if possible. A proper pigs ear of a system. Following instructions on screen, then payment, should tell you you have paid and can exit. Instead you pay ..you hope..and then up pops a message telling you to make payment. So you're unsure if its accepted the card or not. Massive queues of puzzled people. Total rubbish

since the re-location of the disabled parks spaces to the multi-storey parking the system has broken. Not only are the disabled spaces FURTHER away from the hospital, but to qualify for discounted parking for Blue Badge holders they have to report to reception and give them your car registration number for the discount to be applied. This wouldn't be a problem if this was a one-off visit to the reception, but you have to do this at EVERY visit. So not only do disabled drivers have to walk further, thus, potentially, exacerbating the medical issue, but they also have to make further trips to the reception in order to get their discount. NOT very patient friendly in any way whatsoever!

If possible, 0 stars. Tried to use to Jpass app, which repeatedly failed. My partner ended up queuing 20 minutes after our appointment just to pay for parking. There was a significant amount of chat in the queue about how ludicrous this system of money making is, and how people coming out of hospital, many of which poorly or post op- now have to wait to pay in this poorly suited, money making scheme for personal financial gain. No wonder there weren’t many spaces, everyone was queueing to pay and get out!

The car park has charged me £46.50 for a two hour stay rather than £4.50! Rang the hospital who gave me a number for the parking enforcement nobody there to talk to on the phone! Furious

Long queues to pay at multistorey park and machines regularly down. QA hospital is not interested as they 'do not manage' the car parking. So there is NOTHING the users can do about the situation.

Price is reasonable for short stays, but when visiting for longer periods it gets a little expensive. Easy to navigate car park with well sized spaces.
