Riverside

Took the advice on the council parking oage, for carpark for motorhomes :( Big mistake this carpark is not suitable for motorhomes, campers maybe . Parked for half hr as we needed to let the dogs out then left the area, what a shame we didn't get to do some sight seeing and shopping whilst here !!!!

I was lured into parking my mobile home on this parkingplace that the bourough welcomed mobile homes ,paying double space to park on spaious River parking,only to find that I was fined £ 50 for not parking within the lines/not in the proper space. The borough office was closed, the telephone was not working,the intetnet site stopped working. A complete shambles unworthy for a town on the World Heritage site of the UNECO. Some of my friends are going to the UK in summer .I'll tell them to skip Tavistock a £ 50 fine isn't worth it. Protesting has been made inpossible. People from the continent beware tjere are other interesting places to go to and they in the be much cheeper. Rupert D. The Netherlands

Board states have to be within the bay .. our sprinter van wheels are in the bay but body of van outside of bay .. so couldn’t park there as have got a ticket in the past for exactly this scenario.. left Tavistock to spend our money elsewhere.. disappointed is an understatement!
