Ideal for city centre

Use this car park rather than SIP across the road, or park at the meters on the street. Was recently ripped off by SIP. Their prices are £1.10 for 1 hour, £2.20 for 2 etc. I put in £1 coin and the time on the digital display advanced. Put in another and it advanced again. I presumed that £2 therefore bought me just under 2 hours as is would on a normal ticket machine on the street, and pressed for my ticket. However on closer inspection I had been sold just 50mins of parking. Putting in the first pound coin the time did not go forward but BACKWARDS by 10 mins. Thus my £2 in total bought me "£1.10" worth of parking - although actually less than the advertised 1 hour, AND the scoundrels keep the change. In effect when I put my first pound coin in they were offering me an already expired ticket for that price! Machine and price structure set up to deceive and extract your money. May be legal but not moral. Stick with the council car park.
