Expensive car park, however, discounted parking available for visitors of Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Just get your parking ticket validated at the hospital’s reception desk. I parked for 18 hours for £11, which is pretty good for a city centre location.

A great example of NCP ripping of vulnerable parents visiting the the childrens hospotal. Got charged £22 for 6 hours. Cheaper parking in central London. Disgraceful.

Not the most expensive car park in the area, but you pay for what you get. I was stuck here for over an hour because the ticket machine swallowed my ticket. It took 45 minutes of that hour for someone to contact someone: the call buttons on both pay machines were engaged for all of this time. After 15 minutes at the barrier (imagine the queue) someone eventually came and asked the people in the office to open the barrier from there! If you are lucky enough not to endure this then consider the fact that the entrance and exit are on the very busy A38 right next to some traffic lights which take forever to cycle around. It will take you a very, very long time to get in and out of this place during peak times and it is not quick off peak. This is compounded by the building works going on near the entrance/ exit which can often obstruct the
