Validated parking available.
Just received a parking ticket despite using the voucher given by the supermarket. No receipts offered or issued , therefore no means of proving that my parking was valid. Will now shop elsewhere
Parked in the car park. Spent quite a lot of money in the store. Used my ticket given by the store. Turned out I was slightly over the time limit. Reapplied the registration to pay for the extra 15 mins. It said unable to take money as out of order. Today I received a £70 fine! Not very happy
Parked on 12th August. Told that the machine was not working by the parking attendant and that the new parking payment scheme was due to start in 1st September, just got a £70 parking fine!! Not happy!
Sainsbury’s have lost their way with customer service. How do they expect a disabled driver like my wife, who following instructions goes to register her car only to be told she must show the badge as well. To have to do a repeat journey like that to an able bodied person is probably just an inconvenience but to someone awaiting serious operations it’s a nightmare. I will like a lot of other people never use this store again.
I have been fined for £70 staying 29 minutes in the car park when I spent £50 in the store and checked out as well, I wrote emails to consider the fine no answer since month, rubbish service never again Sainsbury's!!!!
I have been issued with a £70 parking fine for spending £60 32p in Sainsbury’s on February 14th. I stayed less than 2 hours and I am furious.
Fined £70 - no idea why. Shopped in store, only there one hour two minutes. Maybe forgot to check out? Contested and reduced to £42 but left a very bad taste in my mouth. Will in future shop at Waitrose WGC.
Advice. Don’t pay them anything. The letters will eventually dry up and the issue history. They can’t enforce anything so don’t be concerned.
This place is disgusting I just recieved a ticket for 70 pounds when the parking is meant to be free for 2 hours. I spent more than 10 pounds.
Appalled. As a blue badge holder I read the instructions that told me to register my number plate at customer services. I put my badge on dash board, went to customer services and was told I needed to show my badge. I limped back to my car and got my badge whilst worrying I’d get a ticket for not displaying my badge. I then proved it was mine and limped back to the car. I then walked back in to the store and was out of breath (I have arthritis and a lung condition) I then needed to sit down and went to the cafe. Walking back past customer service desk I was told “you only have 3 hours” I won’t be going back. Tesco can have my money from now on

Appalling new car park system where I have been issued with a £70 penalty fine for parking on a Bank Holiday in Sainsburys Car park, entering the car park at 14.23 and leaving at 14.56 having spent £54.70. And yes I did present the voucher as I left the store and keyed in my registration number. I had to collect the voucher in store as you do not receive one automatically when you use the Smart Shop till. Appalling!!
