Well, they’ve actually managed to make using this car park worse than it was before , I honestly didn’t think that was possible Congratulations north ayrshire council

No stars I'm afraid..paid at payment point to allow us to exit. Car not allowed to leave. Had to phone to get someone to let us out. Queues growing behind us. Terrible system.

Don't park here prices are misleading and charge you way more than states. Was in car park 1hr 15 min and was charged £5. Rip off.

I do not live in Largs, however as a visitor today with my elderly Mother who needed to get the ferry back to Millport, we missed the boat because I discovered the dismal payment options at the Largs Foreshore car park when I tried to exit! I had to spend 15 mins running around looking for a lace to withdraw cash?which had to be spent on a bottle of water to enable me to have the required £3 to pay for the time i had parked. It’s an absolute disgrace and misleading when at the payment kiosk seemingly displays all methods of payment!!! However, the ONLY method enabled is cash?!? In the midst of a pandemic few people have carried cash, why oh why is this car park so behind the times?!? Needless to say, I now have the time to sit and wait for the next ferry to Millport while I type this complaint and poor review! Can Largs Council please upgrade the payment machines, options of payment AND the almost non-existant signage before you are swamped with yet further complaints during the summer of 2021 and beyond

The arrangements for payment at the only available working station are a disgrace. There are no clear instructions for paying and payment by card, the preferred method for many, appears to be impossible. The poor state of the two payment stations, one of which has been out of service for a long time, reflects very badly on the town of Largs. It's time to get a grip and bring the payment arrangements up to the standard expected in the 21st century.
