What a hole. Well several actually. The car park is awful, full of massive holes and covered in red (like buliders) sand. Went at low tide, narrow stretch of shingly beach with mud flats as far as the horizon. Wouldn't risk my dog's life running on that. Height barrier so motorhomes can drive all the way down the narrow lane only to find they can't get in. Loo was a grubby blue plastic thing. Shan't bother going there again, waste of petrol

Tried visiting this ideal spot today but despite police closure during heatwave discovered the detour would have been futile anyway thanks to height barrier. Real disappointment to note this restriction as campervan causes less impact on area owing to own facilities and takes little more parking space than large estate car. Real shame to isolate part of Norfolk tourism with such measures.

I love Snettisham, why? Because there is bugger all there, no flashy lights or dodgems, just a plain beach and sand dunes. No rule book, do what you like just dont spoil it. I have no problem paying for car parks, if nobody paid then there wouldn’t be a place to park. Used to have a static just back from the beach but fees too much these days. I choose Snettisham over all othe beaches.

For a number of years I have loved visiting Snettisham Beach for a beautiful coastal walk with my dog. I take my motor home which is ideal as it has its own toilet and there are none in the car park. Perfectly happy to pay the parking fee, never leave a trace I have been there and take any rubbish home. Now there is a height barrier across the entrance which means I can no longer visit.

Been twice this year with my motor home great place to walk the dog went yesterday height barrier down and the motor home is a little higher why have they suddenly started to put this in place we take the motor home due to being able to use are own facilities

A pity they do not provide toilets for their parking charge. Would stop people using the bushes at the rear of the car park.

Not sure this is the right one,but we found it at the end of a dead end road off the main coast road. Right behind the sand dunes and very close to the beach. Car park is very big and unmarked sandy surface, There was NO height barrier when we parked ( We have a 2.8m motorhome). At £1 an hour seemed pretty reasonable to let the dog off for a run. Great fish & chip shop about 400yds before the car park. What more could you ask for,?
