St. George's Field

parked my campervan which i always do in york but this time i got a £75 fine they said it was a motorhome which it is not i told them this but they did not reply !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tried to pay online and they tried to take 2 payments, so cancelled that and paid on phone - it was a ridiculously slow way of inputting your details. Rubbish service, puts you off going to an ideal location for parking.

No visible line demoting bays so mistakenly parked in 2 bays . No line visible on there own photo coming out from front of my car . Tryed to appeal but no response so paid day before deadline . Disgusting that they just provide photographic evidence showing no line yet still charge . Advise is dont use any city centre car park as they are obviously abusing their rules and issuing tickets when no definitive bay lines are visible . Will never visit york again .

Easy walk into town, not very busy. Largish spaces which made getting my daughter out of the car easy.

I lived in York City centre for 40 years. I never had a parking ticket. You could park for free after 6pm. I returned for an evening at the theatre and got a £50 ticket. They charge up until midnight! Last time I go into the city, ever! Money grabbing *******s
