After having a bad experience here with poor quality food and disrespectful staff thinking it was funny I wasn't happy with the food or service I was later sent a parking fine, this came about because staff had said the machine wasn't working properly and would sort it. After 2 years of sending letters back and forth the parking company and then the court I had mediation where I was actually forced due to the amount of time its already cost me to pay £135 from £274 as a final settlement or go to court and cost me more money in time off. We'll never spend a penny at this establishment again and I'll do my upmost to share our terrible experience, and so will family and friends.
Seems this is a common occurrence and should be investigated. We, too, have received a Parking Charge Notice for £100, having stopped for a drink one sunny afternoon (07/09) (we were on holiday at the time). We observed parking meters, duly followed the procedure and keyed in our Reg.No. and scanned the docket we received from bar staff, as requested. Cannot imagine what went wrong.!! We are, of course, appealing. Shocked to then receive a Parking notice of £100 a week after our return from holiday. Mr & Mrs Wells, Sunbury on Thames
Awful. Machine didn’t work and issues a £100 fine when we ate in the restaurant. Then need to appeal by letter. Absolute thieves
