Parked 20 mins blue badge on dash only take plate number total bunch of cowboys machines never work fine people what ever they want let me ever see a person from this company be paying more than parking charge in medical bills and as for rye I never park anyway their again and u want tourism don’t rate your chances or was that charges?

Avoid at all costs. I paid for 4 hours parking and got a penalty notice - to them 'No valid pay and display/permit was purchased'. Euro Car Parks - you are thieves.

DO NOT USE THIS CAR PARK. We paid for a ticket from the machine using cash and have received a £100 fine in the post. Every other review has had the same issue. I will be appealing and complaining to the car park association.

We wondered why this car park was empty. Paid for 4 hours on a Tuesday. Did not overstay. Have received a fine. Not sure how much yet. Letter from hire car company says £0.00. As I was driving a hire car have been charged £35 admin fee by enterprise too!

Never experienced this before purchasing a car parking ticket to then receive a fine in the post later on, paid by cash & since discarded the ticket not realising this would be sprung upon us. Appealing the case but shouldn’t have to worry about being in this situation when knowing you paid for a ticket & wasn’t even over the timings, stated on the letter we was in the car park for 40 minutes when we paid for an hour!

DO NOT USE THIS CAR PARK!!!!! I have today received a parking charge notice for the 4th August 22. A Thursday when parking charges are different to other days of the week but there is NO notification of this price change. So on the 4th I payed for two hours and left the ticket in the windscreen. Ten days later the PCN arrives stating that we had only payed for one hour. We payed the £2.20 for two hours as per the notice board charges but because it was a Thursday and the charge is £2.40. A PCN for the sake of 20 pence. What really is annoying is the fact that there is no notification of different charges for different days of the week, and of course there is no point in appealing as Euro Car Parks will of course say that all charges are clearly displayed. Very disappointing to find that was issued a £60 PCN for the sake of a 20p mistake in not realising that on Thursdays the price is different. Why Thursday? I feel as though I have been Scammed and will proactively avoid Eurocarparks and probably Rye

Both machines out of order with an engineer in attendance. Told “parking here is free today.” Guess what, received a fine in the post today. Presumably the engineer in high vis is also in on the scam that seems to be common with this carpark.

Do not use this car park. Paid by machine and now received £100 fine. This is not a car park it is a scam.

Absolutely shocking company! Received a parking charge for September 23rd despite paying for 4 hours. 17 people were trying to get tickets from the machine, app and on the phone. Lots of issues and many people giving up. I eventually paid £5.20 on the app and am now being fined as it seems Euro Car Parks expect you to pay for time spent queuing at the machine. Avoid at all costs as it’s a scam and causes unnecessary stress dealing with such an unprofessional company.

I just got a fine to pay as well but I have a proof as we paid with PayByPhone. I will let u know how it went as we gonna appeal.

This is a scam car park. Be very careful. Paid for 2hours by cash on 17th august 2021. Europarks now fined me £60 saying i didn’t pay. I have no ticket and no way to prove that I have paid. If you’re stupid enough to park here use the app so at least you have evidence

Paid for 2 hours got a parking ticket. When checking the charge and the day we parked found on a Thursday the charge was .20 different!! Didn’t state on the payment list! Absolutely disgusting

Avoid this car park!!!!!!! Being fined 60 quid when we paid for 2 hours at least and they say we overstayed at 1.5 hours. This is obviously how they scam people. It was a hire car so have to pay 30 on top. Will be appealing and have already reported them to the British parking association. Obviously did not keep paper ticket that proves 2 hours paid. I will ask them for photo of my ticket in window as they don't eve say how long over the claim I stayed. Park somewhere else in Rye...anywhere!

I too purchased a ticket, with cash, and since discarded it! I was with my autistic grandson who as a blue badge. Is there grounds for appeal?

We paid for parking and stayed with in our timing of course we've since thrown the ticket and been sent a fine home to say we didn't pay for parking! Absolutely discraceful avoid parking here at all costs!

Zero stars. Couldn't even get a parking space in this car park let alone able to leave my car, so when I left the car park after ten minutes obviously without paying for a ticket, I have now recieved a fine for £100! Jokers!

We have received a huge parking fine for not paying for parking. We did!! And we left before the expiry of the time we paid for!! Of course we have no evidence of this because we paid with CASH and have since thrown away the pay and display tickets! This is not a good system if people who pay for parking get incorrectly penalised!

Paid 9.20 for 4 different tickets because I didn’t think I would be in rye for more than 4 hours and I fell ill due to medication I am on so thought it would be safer me not driving back home. Kept updating my ticket right up until the time that I left, but because there was a time difference between the purchase I got fined £60. Despite paying nearly double what a day ticket is in the car park. Avoid at all costs. Scammers.

We just received a letter from a debt management company stating we owe £160 for a penalty charge notice dating back to August. We never received this PCN or any other reminders. Just straight to the £160 then. When I spoke to the debt company they said no point speaking to Euro Car Parks as they will refer me back to debt company.

received a fine today, even though I paid for 2 hours parking and only used 12 minutes! What a scam! They need more cameras so you can prove you actually bought a ticket.

Avoid at all cost!!!!Paid using app. How wrong can you get?It turns out even the app does not have correct fee structure to the one displayed in car park. Received a fine for not paying correct amount. Will be appealing, no way I’m paying £60 for 3 hours parking.

Be careful of Thursdays!! We put in £1.20 for an hour but it turns out Thursdays have a different tariff of £1.40 for an hour so our original fee cost us £1.20 for 20 mins plus £40!!! Utterly seething!!!

I also have been sent a charge for £80 even thouigh we bought a ticket and displayed it correctly. What a bunch of criminals. All they show is the number plate, no image of a dashboard to prove their phoney claim. Disgusting - refuse to pay!

This is the worst car park every. I have a blue badge due to my disability. I had my badge up on my dashboard. I was there 20 minutes. I have received today £80 fine for parking here. I am not going to pay it. The cheating robbing bastards.

rate -100, only car park in Rye which doesn't display it's charges online. We have now been issued a penalty notice, with no previous warning to pay fine earlier. I gather Euro Car Parks do this in other parts of the country as well

paid for 6 hours parking, received a penalty notice informing me that I did not have a pay and display ticket......why pay and display when they use cameras? what a rip off company, they can take me to court at their expense, the courts generally oder you to pay the original amount any way.......

Couldn't agree more.We arrived, paid for an hour but have been issued a fine for being there for 25 minutes!We live too far away to check but are sure the board said it was £1.20 for an hour. The company is saying our permits were for only 20 minutes!Even if they are right the signage must be deceiving- we will be complaining. A day out fishing has been spoilt and the likelihood of us visiting Rye and spending our money there has just reduced by 100%Well done to the Council - I thought you were supposed to promote tourism and encourage visitors.

AVOID this car park!!! Euro Car Parks operate this car park and do everything they can to issue PCNs. Be warned! When you put money into the machine the time shown is not actually corresponding to the day of the tariff. Apparently there are different tariffs on different days - all designed so that ECP can issue a fine. Check on Trip Advisor - you'll see many many negative reviews. We will NEVER use this car park again!
