Following a hospital appointment, which didn’t put me best frame of mind I parked up and went to pay & realised I didn’t have my purse. I called the number of the payment machine as I was going to ask if with Mobil phone set to make payments there was a way…..no answer. So called my mum fed up explaining what I’d done and left to meet her back at home, I didn’t leave the car park, and tried to call them. I’ve since responded twice in writing, no reply- they can check phone calls, cctv I did not leave the car park just made calls to them & my mum. I’ve just received a solicitors letter, it’s awful. Again, I have called the number, no answer, and again emailed them with a screen shot of my time waiting for them to pick up. I’m unwell atm and passed my nursing studies, in receipt of UC and a single parent, I can’t afford these escalating costs, it’s not for lack of trying to contact someone. I’ve used the car park in the past, and know it’s short stay but that’s irrelevant I didn’t park & stay!

Looks like I'm not the only one, do not park here! We travelled to Hull for a day out with my daughters parked up and paid. Sat nav got us lost,then we saw the sign for the carpark It was only when I went to put more time on when we where sat down waiting for our food I realised you can only park there for thee hours. Not very well sign posted and no warning when I paid for my ticket either. Ended up leaving early as we did not want to get a ticket. Completely ruined my day with my daughter's .Just got a letter for 100 fine aswell Completely put me off going to Hull ever again now I know why the car park was empty

Okay so unlike every other pay and display, it appears the minute you turn off the road into the car park, the clock starts ticking. Not when you actually park, but just turning in. And they fine you. What a terrible way to support local businesses. £100 because I parked for 3 hours but didn't include the time it took me to find change and get out of car. Avoid.

Received a £60 fine for parking on 28/4/2019. At 1020 I parked and paid the £1.00 fee for 3 hour parking on a Sunday. I had a friend with me who saw me input my number and pay. I returned to my vehicle at 1238 which was 40 minutes before my time expired. Minster Bay Watch state I did not pay. I am very concerned as you can see how many people on this site have had the same problem, especially on a Sunday. How many more are there that have not posted on the net!! Because you don’t have a ticket to prove you have paid they can say what what they want and you are left with a £60 bill. Utterly frustrated and furious. I have been fleeced as have all the others. Don’t give them your business as it will cost some of you more than you may expect.

I park here every weekend and have never had a problem.

Paid £1 for 3 hours parking on Sunday 16th December stayed stayed just over 2hrs got a £60 fine f@@king rip off con people!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not use this car park should be camera at the ticket machine to prove u have paid or should be a record on the machine when entering reg number to prove you've paid merry Christmas to you not!!!!

Parked on a Sunday said it was £1.00 for three hours only gone 2 hours paid a pound it said no display ticket needed. Week later a fine for £100.That's not right , not paying as I already paid the pound and as a lot of reviews have said it's happened to them too so something fishy happening here .

Unbelievable. I paid my pound. No ticket issued. Just received a letter demanding I cough up £100. The car park was surprisingly empty on the day - now I know why.

Cheap at first glance but they make their money through extortionate fines, not car park charges - £100 fine for 15 minutes overrun. Don't use

Payed for a 15 minute stay. Received a £100 fine for not paying. The ticket machine doesn't offer physical slips so it's always going to be your word against their's in this situation- and Minster Baywatch do love to profit of a person's misfortune. Must be making a killing off this place. Abysmal. Avoid at all costs.

Visited Sundy 26th paid £1 for 3 hours returned to car after 2 hours 24 min. recieved a fine for overstaying which I clearlly did not. Rip off merchants fleecing the public I have apealed and willnot pay.

I have just had to pay £160 fine for waiting on the road entering the car park I never actually went into the car park and there is no signs displayed telling you the road is also part of the pay and display absolute joke of a place.

I have payed the tickets but I received the fine.

Parked a Black Fiesta and paid by telephone. All ok until the confirmation came back (after payment!) for a Red Vauxhall. Options to amend by text but that did not work. Had to pay again!!!!! Location is great but shoddy management

Parked on 23 Feb at 19:09, paid £2.00 and entered my car reg, I did not receive a ticket to display, left at 20:33. Received a fine today for £100.

this place looks safe and tidy, I misread the sign, for three hours on a Sunday the ticket said 3 hours so returned

I parked here on Sunday 13th November and paid my £1 fee. I stayed 2hrs 10 minutes rather than the whole 3hrs and I have been issued with a £100 fine!!! Apparently I didn't pay! I bloody well did but unfortunately the machine is one that doesn't give a paper ticket and it's my word against theirs!!! An absolute scam and I endeavour to warn and publicise when and where I can!! BE WARNED PEOPLE!!!!

THIS CAR PARK IS REALLY, REALLY POORLY SIGNED. THEY USE ANPR TO FINE YOU IF YOU EVEN JUST DRIVE IN, WHETHER YOU LEAVE YOUR CAR< PARK IN A BAY OR NOT. NOT NICE PEOPLE. MAKES HULL A VERY UNWELCOMING PLACE. WILL NOT BE BACK..
