The few spaces that are available are often used up by the council's vehicles or waiting private hire drivers. There are too many disabled spaces allocated. The street is around the back of Barking high street, so a lot of lorries use this narrow street.

Perfectly located for the new leisure centre but after paying £45 for membership it is not viable to then pay £2.70 for two hours parking 3-4 times a week! Too expensive and a real lack of free parking in this area.

Parking by the Boleyn Ground

Both driving to and parking around the ground is virtually impossible. 

The Football Ground Guide website offers the following tips:

- The best areas to look for spaces are roads left of Barking Road, once you are past the lights at East Ham Town Hall. 

- Parking can also be found at Newham General Hospital, where there is a pay and display car park. To find the hospital from Barking Road, pass the ground on your right, after a few traffic lights turn left into Prince Regent Lane and the hospital is just up this road. It is about a 15 minute stroll away from the ground.
