Lifts hardly ever work. Now that they are pay and display, confusing and difficult especially with Ringo if you haven't used it before. Youngsters hanging sat around and on skateboards, not the best of car parks. Attendants seem to spend all their time in the office

Park my car at surface level got hit by other car. Got cctv at very good view on my car, request to find out the hit and run car number plate through the council, got it back with the answer “I can’t see the number plate and can’t even know what brand is the car”. So you say this is ‘safe car park’, I don’t think so!

CCTV everywhere and payment via coin, card or pre pay makes it very convenient... Two Pod point charge points make the £1 per hour change fantastic value for me as an owner of a Nissan Leaf :)

£1 an hour, maximum you'll pay is £5 for a day. Literally a few minutes walk from the city centre so much better value than other city centre car parks. Not the best looking but it's safe and secure, with CCTV installed. Only tip would be to avoid the lifts, as theysometimes have a funny smell. Otherwise the best value place to park in town.

£5/day, 5mins walking distance to the centre. Plenty space. I always use this car park whenever I visit the city centre.

Parking In Torpoint United Kingdom

As well as the Tamar Street Car Park, there is short term parking available on the left hand side of the majority of Fore Street, as well as a couple of the side streets. The spaces available are limited however, and particularly at peak times it can be difficult to find a space. Furthermore there is a small car park available near the church, which may or may not be Pay and Display.

For those wishing to visit Thanckes Park, or The Lawns, there is free parking available just off the A374 opposite the school. This is clearly marked from the main road. During school hours this car park is often quite full, being used by the teachers from the nearby schools. Otherwise this car park rarely has more than 3-4 vehicles in it, and they'll often only be there for 30 minutes or so. Occasionally this car park gets used by Long-Haul drivers for breaks. It is also worth noting that for a few days a year, while the faire is in town, the car park becomes innaccesible.
