Parking in Stratford On Avon

On-street parking in Stratford-on-Avon is very difficult and visitors are therefore heavily encouraged to use the Park & Ride Scheme.

For visitors still wishing to drive into the town, Stratford-on-Avon District Council provides 8 car parks with over 2,800 parking spaces.

Park & Ride

Stratford Park & Ride is located off Bishopton Lane near to the roundabout with the A46 (T) and the A3400 Birmingham Road. Signs have been provided on the approach roads from the north and west to direct drivers to the site.

Stratford Park & Ride buses depart from Bridge Street (outside MacDonalds) and also from Wood Street (outside Cafe Uno).

Further information is available on the Warwickshire County Council website.

Council Car Parks

Two car parks within Stratford-on-Avon, Bridgefoot multi-storey and the adjacent Unicorn Meadow are barrier controlled 'Pay on Foot', which means you take a ticket on entering the car park, retain it, and pay the required fee before collecting your car.

The other Stratford-on-Avon car parks are pay & display, which means you have to buy a ticket on arrival. The charges apply 24 hours daily, 7 days a week.
