Beware. Time can go quickly when your busy. Went to Specsavers for eye exam and new glasses . 90 minutes gone just like that. Few days later got a fine for £100 reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days. Absolutely livid .
I have parked here for years previously for free and my own fault for not looking at any parking signs. Had lunch out and now paying for it, £60 within 14 days. Beware!!
The car park's owners have not contradicted parking charges information online, it says 2 hours free when actually it is an hour and a half and even if you only stay for 5 minutes you have to obtain a ticket. Grossly unfair deception.
I have been sent a parking ticket for parking less than 2 hours
Please be aware on 27/10/2021 I was charged £60 for being in the car park, I was there 1hr and 49 mins and this car park is said to be free for 2 hrs, the notice then advices that it will charge £100 if you appeal and you will loose your chance to pay the discounted payment of £60, absolute disgrace to put more pressure on small businesses and also fine loyal customers who have used these shops for years, no ticket so how are poor pensioners meant to cope with this system
For visits shorter than 12 hours, use the Short Stay car park.
