No overnight parking.
Friendly staff who helped me out. Thank you
Treat this car park with great caution!!! I tried to pay twice at the first machine and it timed-out my payment. Tried again at the second machine and my payment appeared to go through! A fortnight later, I got a £100 fine through the post. If you can't get the faulty machines to work, there's no way out! BEWARE.
Easy to use website when paying www.bakewellbridgecarpark.co.uk
Paid on their website, very simple. Friendly staff
Parked there on 27 March. The queues to pay were huge and everyone was confused. Paid for ticket but have now received a claim for £60 staying I hadn't paid. Avoid if possible. Presents itself as family car park but the charge I received is from parking a national firm. The machine was clearly faulty that day and it's the customer that gets charged for it
Nice car park, plus you can charge your Electric car while you park
Very happy with service, location and spaces
Good location and pay at end so no worries about ticket expiring
Staff went out of their way to help.
Excellent car park and helpful staff. People writing negative reviews probably received a fine because they thought they could get away without paying and are now lashing out online.
Good place to park
Friendly, helpful staff
Ripped us off and probably everyone else. Will be taking them to court
Enjoyed my stay here. Friendly staff helped me get to where I was headed
Nice car park, good location, friendly staff. Great customer service (helpful in finding a space and also resolving any issues regarding payment)
Charged me for 2 days instead of 2 hours
Wasn't sure where to write this but here seems as good as any. The Attendant today noticed my car had a flat tyre and pumped it up whilst I went shopping. Thank you, thank you, thank you. So kind.
The car park attendant was fab. Really friendly and helpful : )
Easy to use QR code and ApplePay.
I purchased an all day ticket by mistake, (my fault for not reading the very clear and simple instructions on the machine!). So I was charged £6 rather than the £4 that I should have been charged (had I followed the simple instructions on the machine). I contacted the car park (contacted details are located nearby and easy to find, which is nice, on a lot of car parks you wouldn't be able to do that) and told them of my error. They immediately refunded the difference that my mistake made, now that is what I call customer service. Rob, Stockport
Easy to use machine, pay at end and just get charged what you stay, simple and with easy to follow instructions clearly displayed on machine. Easy to use website too if there is a queue.
Parked in this car park for 2 hours and when leaving was charged £6.00. The machine was obviously not reading correctly. Our ticket which I have says we arrived 13.22 and left at 16.00 which was incorrect. On the tickets it says end of validity was the next day. We will not be using this car park again. The queue to pay took 20 minutes as everybody was confused by it. You must be making a lot of money from this but no longer will it be from us.
Employee on hand today unnecessarily rude
Clean, well signed car park. Friendly, helpful staff. See you again!
Very helpful chap working. Lovely place, recommend!
I followed the instructions and entered my Reg No put the cash in the machine. Few weeks received PCN.
Customer Service, Quality, Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!!! Lovely quiet, flat car park. The gentleman car park attendant was super helpful!!
Parked here and went to get ticket. Parking attendant I informed myself and others that machines were broken and to just pay on exit. When we left there was nobody to pay. Four weeks later we have received a £100 fine, appeal was denied. This was a reminder even though we never got an additional notice with option to pay less.
New ANPR system, pay when you leave, is an excellent addition to Car Park
Clean car park. With helpful staff, which is rare! Steph. Bolton
Friendly staff moved his car so I could park my van. Close to town centre too.
Nice car park, all tarmac, no mud! Friendly staff, clearly signed.
Had a day out in Bakewell, parked here, bought a ticket and left before it expired. I have not received a fine. F. Platt, Belper
A key worker, suffering from long covid. I was offered a £4.50 or £5.50 ticket. Late back to car and tired. No penalty ticket on car windscreen. Back from week away. £100 fine or £60 for early payment. To park in a dark muddy field with no supervision or safety measures. Some things are unjust and should be challenged. See you in court.
Friendly staff, close to town centre
Excellent car park
We parked and 16 mins over (but actually a lot more). The reason we were over was that we were supporting the local economy and got stuck in a shop because the till role ran out - as you are aware the average time to change a roll is 16mins. We then got a little lost trying to find our way back and ended up in the carpark next door as Bakewell is vast an difficult to navigate. Things happen and people do get caught up in things. Knowing full well we were 16mins over (actually a lot more) we bought a another ticket to prove to the enforcement company that we are 'honest' people not trying to rip a small local business off. They were absolutely fine with that and thanked us for our 'honesty'. Will park here again. J Boner
Lovely place. I park here 3-5 days a week and have done for years. Never once been fined.
Good car park. Reasonable prices.
Nice to see staff on a car park! Very helpful. Found me a space when it was very busy.
If you read a review, an opinion, a description or a fact and you don't know who wrote it then it's no more reliable than if it were sprayed on a railway bridge. It is unsubstantiated, anonymous opinion. We understand that instinctively. We need to start routinely applying those instincts to the web.
Very busy today when I parked but staff very helpful and found me a space.
Very nice car park. Clearly signed, close to town centre.
Awful avoid. Poor parking. Poor signage.
I came to Bakewell for the day on my motorbike, £2.50 for all day for bikes, pretty good!
Good Value for money, clean, friendly staff, close to town centre and handy for Monsal trail. I park here regularly.
We visited Bakewell as a family trip and saw this parking first so we parked, paid, stayed and had a great time! All was clear, fair and easy to pay and park. The owner is quite handsome too!
Good value for money, especially if staying all day. Clean and tidy. Close to town centre.
I have been parking here for years, well over 10 years. I have never once received a fine like a lot of people who complain on here say they have. Maybe it's because I always buy a ticket and don't stay over the time that I purchased! The car park is very clearly sign posted, it clearly says it is a private car park and that no concessions or permits are valid. I would recommend this car park to anyone, I would also recommend buying a ticket as their clear and obvious signs instruct. I look forward to parking there again once Iockdown is over. Frank, Nr.Matlock
I recently parked at Bakewell Bridge Car Park and managed to lose my car keys. I think they were handed in to a member of staff who left a note and a phone number and then came down late at night to let me back into my car and save me an expensive taxi home! Thank you!
Yep they are attempting to fine me £160 too. AVOID THIS CAR PARK !!!!!
Went a drive out when lockdown lifted in May 8pm at night had 30 min walk got £100 fine only 1 other car in car park. Through the Covid 19 even council parking wasn't charged at a lot of places. Received letter in July £100 must be when staff returned to work well the only amount they would get from me is £2.50. Threaten all they like
Nice friendly car park with staff who go out of their way to help. Negative reviews are ridiculous. Sounds like people who chanced it not paying and got caught.
good car park £4.00 all day. Very shallow bays
