BEWARE when using the payment machines. It charged me twice after declining my first contactless payment. butv in the event the declined payment when through and there is no one to contact to complain to

This review is based upon several visits. This car park is beyond bad. Rude and arrogant staff who are paid on a £15 per ticket commission payment when penalties are incurred. The ticket machines are mostly but not all cash only, making it difficult to pay. They covertly issue tickets without notice. I received a ticket in the time it took me to find the card payment machine, queue and then get back to my car. Only found out two weeks later then the letter landed on my doorstep. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Do not park here. They will shut the gate at 6pm sharp with no way of contacting anyone. This left me stranded in Bakewell with a baby and a dog. The next day I was in my car at 6:30am but they still haven't opened it by 7:30am. Park somewhere else.

Was shown by attendants where short stay/long stay was, machines take card, drove straight out when we were done

Stuck in the car park. I have been directed to this car park as a long stay but locked at 6 pm. Cone back from hiking at 6 : 20 to find myself and children locked in the car park. No phone to call. Would definately avoid for long stay.

would vote 0 if i could one sign saying open until 6. The others are very small and low to the ground. No numbers to call if stuck and from the other reviews looks like the owners are complete wankers. Arrived back at the car park at 6:10pm as well they could’ve at least waited a few minutes.

Went today 30/12/2019 took ages to get in the long stay car park but coming out was even worse we got in our car at 3.0 pm and finally exited the car park at 4.0 pm the problem was the attendants policing the flow stopping people leaving I have used that car park hundreds of times and have never been hurded by parking attendants on leaving my son was in another car with his 9 month old baby she was crying her eyes out and he couldn't see to her as he was stuck in the que to get out . There was no need for them to do this they caused the problem .This was our worst experience of visiting Bakewell

Awful parking control , horrified to see a parking attendant using his own phone to take pictures of cars and their tickets ( surely a personal phone is breaching data security laws) he was using said phone to listen to music and text so definitely personal. Happy to let people in but leave people to get out with no control at all , female elderly attendant was rude when attempted to speak to her , waved us on as if shooing is away

Extremely rude attendants - fined for "breaking" the height barrier - scammers - avoid at all costs

even though i paid and displayed... they STILL send me a ticket 3 weeks later. rejected any appeal even though I PAYED AND DISPLAYED and incredibly rude!!! used to park here on a daily basis but will now AVOID at all cost!

would have given them 0 stars if I could. only interested in finding reasons to fine you... even due to disability they will force a fine. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

I parked in this one on Tuesday the 4th May 2019When the parking ticket had nearly run out we went back to the car to move it, the attendant said we could put another ticket on and stay another 2 hoursToday, Mon 20 June I have received a parking fine for £100 saying I was in breach of terms and conditions and an expired ticketIf you are told you can put another 2 hour ticket on by the attendant, rather than move the car, you wouldn't then expect a parking fine through the post.

Anyone complaining must've been there on market day . It's not the job of the car park attendants to control the flow of cars , a little patience would help

Never opens on time. And most of car park attendants turn up late.

avoid is far too busy on exiting and damaged cars a plenty

We used this car park 26.03.17. It took us over an hour to get out of the car park as the Wardens did not control the amount of cars leaving. AVOID!

No rating - AVOID, they are only interested in taking your money and disappear when full so you are stuck here for 3 hours!!
