Convenient for travelodge and a rake of chain eateries in a new plaza area. Having been bitten NCP's outrageous pricing before I was dismayed to see it was one of theirs. Too late to turn back. At 9pm I couldn't afford to stay more than a couple of hours and moaned as much at Vue just down the road. Good job I did as they validated my pass so it "only" cost £3.60 to park whilst I watched a film. I mention this as they claimed my ticket was good for 24hrs. They had an arrangement. Worth asking at any restaurant you might be visiting and especially Travelodge. Personally, I much prefer Crowne Plaza, but at the poorer bottom end of town. Special rates in the evening keep me visiting town more and more. Also, the car park in Pheasant street (opposite pure gym) has 2hr cheap parking in the evening. feed the machine an indeterminate extra and you're good til the morning.

Parked here under belief it was open 24 hours to find in actual fact the car park does have shutters down and all doors locked. So had to find alternative home to collect car following day. Problem wasn't that, it was the fact there was no signs we saw to say that the car park is completely locked. I would have used and wished we had used 'Crown Gate' which isn't much cheaper and IS 24 hours. Hopefully friends will listen to me next time. Car park also very tight.

Close to Friar Street which has lovely individual shops but expensive. £10.40 when I stayed for 24 hours recently.

if you stay a minute over four hours they charge you for 24 hours and that is £15-00 beware!!!!

It states CCTV but this is only on exits and pay machines -so just to protect NCP not it's customers! Very expensive. Better off using "CrownGate", much brighter and closer to main shops etc
