Chesterfield Station

Avoid at all costs. Expensive. Too narrow to park. I was lucky to find a very slim gymnast who was able to climb into my car whilst her boyfriend and me pushed the car out, otherwise I would have been stuck. Incidents reported previously make you feel it’s unsafe to leave your vehicle there. I no longer use Chesterfield railway station as a result.

PCN for not parking within a marked bay. The only way I could get out of car was with car positioned so that wheels were on white lines. £70 PCN. Appalling money making scheme.

Adjacent to the rail station, but nothing more. Small spaces that do not fit modern large saloons or SUVs. I had my car's catalyst cut off overnight and found that the CCTV does not work. I recently had to use the car park again because of traffic issues and received a £35 fine for having my wheels over the bay lines when parking next to a Range Rover. Recommend parking in the Chesterfield Mult-storey rather than this site. Better protection, better value and only 5 minutes walk from the Station.

Left car for 2 days. Went back in the evening so paid in station. Went for car and barrier stuck in up position. No one in station to report this to. Man in car park told us to just drive out (he could have been stealing a car - we don't know). Felt very unsafe.

Spaces are far too small. My car is larger than average (A7). I parked at the relatively empty end of the carpark with spaces either side. There was probably only 10cms to the line each side and I was perfect straight. Returning to my car, I struggled to get in as the cars either side were so close. Not sure how they got out? They weren’t parked badly . Just the spaces are too small. . Will park elsewhere in future. £12 per day to come back to scratches on both doors. No thanks.

Parked Wednesday 12pm till Friday 7pm,, £29!!!!what a rip off!!!!as well as paying an arm and a leg for train travel!!!!no wonder we drive everywhere!!!
