Machine wasn’t working on 19/06/2023, wouldn’t accept cash or card payments and didn’t have my phone with me as I was at the cinema so couldn’t pay! Week later, £100 fine!!

Be careful at the car park. Machine does not work properly. You think you paid but then you receive the fine.

Be very careful when paying. Inputting my vehicle registration and paid £1.00. Now received a parking fine for £100.00 (£60.00 if paid within 14 days of notice). The system appears to be set up with a view to catch out drivers as there are no barriers. No notice given at the time that there was any problem with the amount I paid. I then receive a parking notice/ fine. Really disappointing given the fact that Wrexham should be encouraging, not deterring people to park in town centre.

Parked here and paid on my way out. The customers before me were having problems as machine not recognising their registration. Today I receive £100 fine for that same day even though I kept my ticket.

The whole of Wrexham parking is a scam. Got caught out and scammed at Island Green earlier this year. Take your business out of town or on line, we are.

Last month I parked here,I put my registration in, put my card in to pay for the parking and it only charged 80pence to my account.I now have been fined £60 for not paying the required amount! This is there mistake not mine....shocking system! It needs looking at so they are not taking hard earned money from people already struggling.

Been today was just over an hour as waited in one long queue pit my reg in said couldnt find so i hit continue and it was charging me 80p i put in a pound and it went in but didnt register i put in another pound and it did the same so i cancelled but it kept my money so i left as i had paid even though didnt register

Horrendous place ,,, I have tried on 2 occasions .. I’ve gone to use the new £ 1 it doesn’t take it.keeps chucking coins out … This is an ongoing every time I use this carpark I have to make sure I’m paying with a note as pounds dnt work ,, very frustrating and tbh a complete waste of customers time .

Wouldn’t give change. Confused people trying to pay which sent me into £5 cost then wouldn’t give change of £10 note even though it says you can use cash.It really wants you to sign up to their scheme which automatically takes money from your account. Won’t be using this car park again when there are 2 council car parks which are free a short walk away. Terrible service and cost.

Awful place. Couldn’t find anyway to pay!! Sign saying to pay before leaving. No signal to pay via app. So left without paying. No one to assist. What a system

We have actually been find £100 for parking without paying on 27.8.2021. We have been using this parking place for months FOC and had no idea this new cock eyed system had started. Very little notification if you live out of town. We are pensioners and my husband has a blue badge, central parking is essential for us but this daft way of paying is getting a lot of users really cross. I will happily pay to park but It will not be here. It’s just another to get money out of us in the laziest way possible which suits the operators of this place but not the people who are actually using it. Bit like call centres which drive everyone nuts. I will not be using this car park

very little information on how to pay for parking, finally found a sign saying you need to pay before leaving hard when there is no phone signal. won't be using that car park ever again

Visited today. Machine wasn't accepting notes, only coins. I couldn't work out the online payment and nobody there to help. Had to go exchange a note for coins at tenpin. Will not park here again.

Visited this car park today. Machine accepting cash only. Alternative ways to pay very unclear. Could not get signal on phone to pay online as suggested. Quite at of concerned and confused people not knowing how to pay. I will not be visiting this car park again.
