East Lothian Community Hospital

I have a blue badge but there is no disabled parking for disabled drivers with limited walking, I am unable to walk from the existing carpark.

I attended an OLD Clinic appointment today, no Disabled parking was available. I parked carefully in the Drop-off Area, to avoid blocking any access. On my return, I found a sticker telling me that if, I did this again, my car would be removed! Although the car parks are not yet complete, the new car parks for disabled are not particularly near the main entrance. I would have thought NHS Lothian could find some compassion for Blue Badge Holders and not employed a "jobsworth" to care of needy patients!

Arrived for appointment at 9am, no parking available, I'm disabled and have a badge and couldn't get parked anywhere, normal spaces or disabled spaces. Stopped near the door to park and was hounded by a member of staff to move as that was for ambulances only except there was 2 NHS vans parked there, they were not ambulances. Had to go home and miss my appointment.
