This car park needs massive improvements. I already knew that it closes at different times on different days, the latest being 9.30pm on Thursday - Saturday. Access to the car park is the wrong way round. on entering at ground level, you have to drive up a circular ramp right to the top level to reach the entrance gates which have the usual barriers at which you collect you ticket. You have to take your ticket with you because the machines to pay are only on the ground floor! So on driving into the car park itself the first spaces to choose are on Level 5. I parked on Level 4 yesterday and then found that the lifts weren't working. Having mobility challenges I had great difficulty going down 4 flights of stairs to the ground floor exit. It was only on the doors of the lifts on the ground floor that I read that one had to use alternate lifts. On returning to the car park 30 mins before it shut I read a notice on the lift doors telling me to use different lifts several yards away which were also closed

They need bigger signs to say that they lock the car park at 7:30. Then they want to charge you £100 to get your car out.

Terrible. Shuts early and 100 to get car out in Kingston....central London

I can see times on this site now. However, it’s not obvious when you arrive that it shuts so early. Our car was locked in after 8:30 on a Saturday. Seriously! This is a town centre Car park- with bars, restaurants, cinemas and a theatre. What are they thinking?

Have just been to Eden walk car park Kingston and charged £8.80 for 3 hrs 7 mins. It seems that if you just go over the hour you have to pay the full next hour rate which seems extremely unfair especially if you are in a queue. Why not prorate it like many car parks ? Also notice the hourly rate increases after 2 hrs which seems to work against keeping people in the high street. Finally how do you justify such a high hourly rate ? The whole system seems to be skewed against the shopper. Await your comments

Parking at The Twickenham Rugby Stadium

About The Twickenham Event Zone

When large crowds are expected on an event day, the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames introduces the 'Twickenham Event Zone' also known as Controlled Parking Zone R. This is a one-day controlled parking zone around the Twickenham stadium.

The days the zone will be in operation are sign-posted well in advance at the zone entry points, and on major routes into the area. In addition, a listing of the events timetabled for this year can be found on the Event Day Timetable page.

The zone can be displayed on the map by selecting the 'Event Zone' checkbox on the map.

Twickenham Stadium Parking

All of the roads surrounding the stadium are for resident permit holders only and any unauthorised vehicles will be towed away. On-site car parking is extremely limited and is normally pre-allocated for international matches. Parking is generally available on site for non-international matches and Concerts if booked in advance.

It is recommended that you pre-book a car parking space by requesting a booking form from the RFU Ticket Office by emailing carparking@therfu.com. Please note that pre-bookings will close at 1pm on the Wednesday before a weekend event or on the Friday before a mid week event.

Additional parking near Twickenham Stadium is available from local residents and businesses through Parkatmyhouse.

Bicycles and Motorbikes

Free parking facilities are available in the stadium’s North and West car park.
