Parking at Edinburgh Airport

Edinburgh Airport operates a number of car parks designed for short and long term stays.

Passenger pick-up and drop off

All passengers being picked up should follow signs to the new airport pick up zone, located on the ground floor of the multi-storey car park.

Vehicles wishing to pick up airport passengers should follow the signs to the pick up zone. Vehicles wishing to drop off passengers should follow the signs to the new set down zone.

Signs on the airport approach road will clearly show the appropriate lanes for pick up and set down. Ensure you get in the right lane early and do not enter the green lane, which is for public transport and other authorised vehicles only.

Short-term stay

The Short Stay car park is available for visitors to the airport who are parking for a few hours or going on short trips. Edinburgh airport short stay parking is situated a short walk from the terminal.

Long-term stay

There are two main car parks for long stay parking at Edinburgh airport: Long Stay Edinburgh and NCP Scotpark Edinburgh.

Long Stay Edinburgh is situated within the airport boundary. Once your have parked your car a courtesy coach service operates between the car park and the terminal. This service runs every 10 minutes and takes approximately five minutes.

NCP Scotpark Edinburgh is located outside of the airport boundary. Once you have parked your car a courtesy coach service runs every seven to 10 minutes and takes approximately four to five minutes.

A number of companies such as Secure Airparks and Park and Fly also operate off airport car parks and Meet and Greet services.

Other

A valet parking option is available where a driver meets you outside the terminal and takes your car to a secure storage area close to the airport. On return your car will be returned to you at the terminal.
