It’s not on a steep hill at all. It’s just a gentle slope and no more difficult to manoeuvre than any other car park.

Great car park, perfect location for cinema. It's on a hill, but not an issue at all, some of these other reviews are baffling. Can get busy if there is a play on at the theatre, but that's it.

It's a good car park. It is on a slope, but it needs to to be pointed out that other contributors have made it appear that this is some sort of mountain, it's not in the slightest. It is no more difficult to get around than any other town centre car park. Free parking before 8 am is a bonus for me, and free after 9 pm is useful too. Exchange street is a busy intersection on the towns inner circle, you will always have cars backed up leaving in the centre of a town and at certain times of the day.

security none existent. it's on a massive steep hill and poorly laid out. close to shops but friars square is better located for that.

It's an awful car park, the entire thing is a steep hill and it's always really busy so manouvering and parking is incredibly difficult. I'd recommend the car park across the road at the Travelodge/Waitrose because it's cheaper, safe with better security, not as busy, wide spaces and don't need to tackle a steep hill.

No cameras in this car park. Often very busy and the confusing layout can lead to traffic jams! Free motorcycle parking but nothing to chain your bike too! As its next to the charity clothes bins etc it's not unusual to see vans pulled up in front of the bikes, which is the crooks favourite way of taking your bike if it's not chained down. Real failing that planners don't think properly. Conveniently situated for the shops though

Useful carpark; but due to poor access and layout it is a gridlock when everyone exits the car park at the same time.
