Utterly useless and small car park. Prepaid for parking yet car park full. Hopeless

Sep 23, 2021

I dread having to park at Exeter train station. This company are so slippery. Once I bought a ticket for my car, and I’d typed in one of the number plate digits wrong, but I HAD paid for my ticket. They pursued me, and threatened me with huge fines even though it was obviously a mistake. They wouldn’t listen. Luckily I’d kept the ticket and had proof of payment for that time period. Another time, I had to catch a train, I parked my car, and their phone number wasn’t working. I couldn’t actually pay them. Luckily I took screen shots of all my attempted calls, and my attempts to pay online. It’s the only parking where I make sure I have evidence of everything! They clearly make money out of bullying and threatening. Catch the bus if you can.

We used the premier Inn opposite , paid cast into the machine , registered our car licence plate and have since just received a fine through , we are going to challenge this but be aware when paying cash into these machines

Was also led to believe this car park would be free overnight but received a fine for parking between Christmas Day and early Boxing Day. Getting details of full parking terms and conditions from the Apcoa website is not obvious.

This from the Apcoa website:"Am I Guaranteed a Parking Space?Unfortunately we cannot guarantee any parking spaces at any of our locations. To avoid disappointment it might be advisable to purchase your parking session whilst on site. Unfortunately we cannot refund any sessions purchased where a parking space is not available."So, in other words we will sell you something and keep your money if we can't provide it.Fraud?

Arrived at this car park late at night to stay at the Premier Inn opposite. Very poor lighting and poor signage. Attempted to pay but machine wouldn't seem to work and assured parking overnight was free at the Premier Inn, which was incorrect. Have since received a fine.

Parking at Exeter International Airport

APCOA operates a number of short and long stay car parks at Exeter International Airport.

Short-term stay

There is a Short Stay car park suited for stays less than 6 hours opposite the departure & arrivals terminal. The first 30 minutes cost £1.

Long-term stay

There are three on-airport long stay car parks. Long Stay car park 2 is the closest to the terminal and is the most expensive of the three.

Long Stay car parks 3 and 4 are slightly further away and are cheaper for longer stays. A shuttle bus runs "on demand" between these car parks and the airport.

A number of companies such as Fly Parks and Exeter Holiday Parking also operate off airport car parks and Meet and Greet services.

Discounts upwards of 30% available when you pre-book long stay car parks.
